Beyonce Knowles has reportedly forced her back-up dancers to pay for their own flights to attend rehearsals.The “Dreamgirls” star, who is promoting her latest album “B-Day,” expects her backing dancers to pay for their own flights from New York to Los Angeles to rehearse for her upcoming tour and latest music videos, according to the New York Post newspaper.
A source said: “They had to pay for their own flight and work for a measly $400 per video.”
Damn Papa Knowles and them don’t play. But they gotta know you can’t fuck with the help, one of those dancers could “accidentally” fall and bring Beyonce’s cheap-ass down with them.

@ #8, I read somewhere that the standard is $3,000 for 2 rehearsal days and 1 day of shooting for music videos.
It’s a real shame but trust there are tons of up and coming dancers willing to take the harsh treatment and pay cuts just to put working for Beyonce on their resumes.

But also keep in mind that Bey is shooting 7 videos (5 from the remaining B’Day tracks, one for Upgrade U/Hollywood, and one for “Beautiful Liar”). He said the money is lookin real right!

as a professional dancer myself, i have been paid lots of money to dance in videos and tours for LESS famous artist, so i hope that its not true. on the other hand videos/tours are really fun, you do work, but if you’re a true dancer you love it…and putting some Beyonce vids on the resume would be worth what ever the pay was. i’d do it for $400!

The record label has refused to pay for anymore videos from this album, so Beyonce has to pay for everything out of her own pockets that is associated with that album. So it would not surprise me AT ALL if this were true.

I go to work 5 days a week and my boss doesn’t pay for me to get there. Those dancers have a choice…to work for B or to find another damn job! As far as $400 per video, that’s there fault…it’s called okay let’s negotitate, you have a schedule with your directors to complete these damn videos, pay us $600 per video or $500 a day etc… and we start working!!!! If they cut the agents that’s business if they didn’t negotitate, that’s there dumbness. Go Beyonce!!!
