That is a wig ,because I saw Erica on something not to long ago , and she had short permed hair. I know what it was Dave Chapelle block party. She was performong ,and the afro wig she was wearing kept blowing back so she took it off.

Why do we have a double standard for Celebrities? If Ms Badu was living in the hood and she named her kids SEVEN and PUMA we would be saying, “Girl, why the hell you gave those kids them fucked up ass names.” Those names are not eccentric, normal or cute. Those are some fucked up ass names and if those kids were growing up in the hood they would be tease and get their ass kicked because of their name. I personally think she should have gone all out and name the her kids EIGHT and NIKE.

Erykah’s wig doesn’t look natural and purposely so. Even in her video with Sergio mendes, when she wears her hair straight it seems to me that she’s purposely using that hair for “art” and not to make it look natural.

I live in the same city as she does and babe, South Dallas is DA HOOD! I also grew up there but haven’t lived there in over 12 years. But, Erykah didn’t let fame take over. she didn’t forget where she came from and girlfriend has bought an old theatre in South Dallas and holds tons of charity events with celebrity guests. The D.O.C is from Texas too! So, that’s not too far fectched that they kicked it. Hell, he had people from the West Dallas Projects.

Rarely do you find an album that you can listen to the entire cd without skipping a song or two, but WorldWide Underground album, and Sylenna Johnsons’ “Chapter 3: The Flesh”, are two albums that you can bump all the way through.
