The talented Erykah Badu is the cover model for the February / March issue of Heart & Soul magazine. The 4x Grammy winner talked about her home life in South Dallas and her love for her children. Her 2 year-old daughter, Puma, is pictured with her. Too cute!!

Erykah also has a 9 year-old son named Seven, with rapper Andre 3000.
Very cute lil girl:) I didnt know that DOC ( I remember him westcoast artist from 80s ) fathered her daughter. I do recall her dating Common sometime after her and Andre broke up,!Then next thing I know that was done ,lol and over with! I think that Miss Badu’s Mother Earth ,all natural woman image and persona has people fooled .Im not saying that shes a fake or unreal totally ,but she’s like any other around the way chick in my opinion. Some people try too hard to find “original” and “unique” names. My daughter will have a name with meaning, but one she can live with and not worry about getting teased with…Erykah’s kids don’t have to worry too much about childhood torture, they aren’t even going to school outside the house.
People… a Puma was/is an animal before it was/is a shoe. I have the feeling that she was thinking of the beautiful and graceful feline and not the sneaker when she was naming her child. And it is OK to have an exotic name. Don’t be judgmental.

I remember reading an article or seeing an interview in which Erykah states that she lies all the time to the people interviewing her. She thinks it funny that they report this stuff as the truth. I think it specifically mentioned an interview with Wendy Williams where she made up all kinds of stuff.

Do some research on the number 7 as well as the word Puma and you will get it. If you don’t then you are just blind, dead and dumb. I personally would be more digusted if she had given her children names like “Christopher” or “Amy.”
