These portraits of Jennifer come from a photo session she partaked in this week. There’s always news with Miss Hudson – it has recently been revealed that among being nominated for an Academy Award, she will also be performing at the ceremony with her “Dreamgirls’ costars – Beyonce and Anika.
Another big performance her way, Clive Davis gave her the honor of performing at his premiere Grammy pre-party tomorrow evening along with Justin Timberlake. Yes Jenn is sitting on top of the world.

Jennifer has most certainly NOT surpassed Fantasia. Fantasia did win AI which is something Jennifer can never say. Fantasia was nominated for a Grammy for her debut CD. A TV movie was made about her life. She toured with Jamie Fox. I don’t want to compare these two because both are successful. Everyone has their time to shine. Jennifer’s time seems to be now. I would suggest you enjoy her time in the limelight because Hollywierd and the general public can be very fickle. I didn’t realize Jennifer had so many fans when she was on American Idol. Where were you when she needed your vote? Don’t try to jump on the bandwagon now.

31, stop with the negativity. Both Fantasia and Jennifer are amazingly talented (although I question Fanny’s style now-a-days, but, to each their own…), and people in Hollywood were fickle before Fantasia or anybody else relevant today. She’s gaining new fans, and that is not a bad thing, and just because she lost AI, doesn’t mean this wasn’t part of God’s plan for her.

Let’s be real. A Grammy is barely even worth $25. And a Oscar will get you music work and movie work, they don’t throw out them awards like a Grammy. Jennifer went from the bottom to the top without having to win American Idol so I can feel for her on that. But Fantasia got her fame from American Idol and you see how the people who voted for her are not buying her records anymore they steady buying Taylor Hicks and all that other sh!t.

Who is trying to compare Jennifer to Fantasia. Jennifer did good in Dreamgirls but she is no Fantasia Barrino. I think Fantasia is the best singer to date she kills all of these other chicks in the game. To me there’s no competition the game is over Fantasia has it.. When I first heard Fantasia’s voice on American Idol I knew the competition was over she’s up there with Patti, Aretha, and all the other legends. And #30 is right about Jennifer on Idol. #39 Fantasia is staying true to her style and herself and I like that about her it seems to me that she has remained the same. I am happy for both of them.

Jen is lookin GORGEOUS in the pics and they put her on those goodwill-hand-me-down clothes paried with ridiculous scene. They should and CERTAINLY COULD HAVE done better with the location and woredrobe.

uh winning an oscar doesn’t guarantee more movie roles.sure it might up your movie acting status,but it doesn’t guarantee good movie roles,i mean look at the movie roles halle berry got after winning an oscar,and she stills earching for good roles. plus it definately doesn’t equate to sucesses in music,not especially with the fickle music industry
well these pics are alright, nothin stands out, they could have use a better wig. is she ever gonna perform “and i am telling you”, LIVE??? plus after seeing her performance with fantasia peformance for the aretha franklin tribute, it is safe to say fantasia was definately the right choice for american idol.
