This sounds like a bunch of bullshe-it anyway, why would they RE-release a 3 year old album that only sold 60,000 copies the FIRST time unless they are trying to get her out of a contract that required a certain number of albums and the re-release would count as another one since she don’t have enough songs to put out a “hits” album.

However, Kelly needs to break away. I know that the Knowles clan is her comfort zone but to be taken seiously she needs to get out of Bey’s shadow.
Get new management and writing teams. Simply Deep was actually a good album to me but she is too talented to play second fiddle. This is probably hyped up as far as the solang issue but Kelly has been held back for whatever reason.
She doesn’t seem to have the spark that Beyonce does but we will never know until she can stand on her own.

Yeah, if you check out Kelly and Solange’s Myspace pages, you can see that the album was already re-released and her new album is to drop in like April. No official word on Kelly’s album though. They are just trying to build up a little buzz for Solange before the new album. I’ll admit that the album is too old (and bubble gum) to be trying to use as promo, but what can you do, right? I also think that Kelly is just taking a long time to record her sophomore album. She already had to go back into the studio like twice.
