Similar to Superhead and Carmen Bryan, former MTV producer Terrance Dean (left) has written a tell-all gossip book. The memoir, which is entitled, Hiding in Hip-Hop: Confessions of a Down Low Brother in the Entertainment Industry, will chronicle “the author’s life as a closeted homosexual working in the film and music industry and his relationships with other closeted gays—film stars, rappers, and music producers.” -Radar Online
A spokesperson for Dean said the book will not name names, but added, “Let’s put it this way—you’ll know who they are. It’s a no-holds-barred look at Hollywood and hip-hop and who’s living on the down low.” The book is reportedly going to be released next year.

TERRANCE DEAN ON THE DL? LOL Terrance has always been an openly gay man as far as I knew. First He wrote a black mens “self help book” now he’s trying to out an industry that he only skated around with no real position of power or importance. People are so hungry to be famous and in the limelight that they would become a walking contradiction to do so.
I remember the problems Terrance had trying to get his book/mens empowerment off the ground because everyone knew it was a gay organization masking itself as a black mens movement.
I remember The Terrance Dean of the 90′s that was hired as an assistant to a stylist as a favor by a “friend” when he was down on his luck. Terrance stole the clothing from the shoot and moved to L.A. leaving the friend/stylist to answer for the missing cloths.
Terrance has also has a very sorted and “seedy” past as a gay man looking for DOWN LOW brothers to “scratch his itch.” I will save my facts until he releases his book and attempts a media blitz. We can let the media ask him about his past and credentials to write a book of this type……
