I was surprisingly disappointed by Chris Brown’s performance.

Overall the Grammys SUCKED. Yes there was the few good performances, Mary did great, Justin SUCKED with his rehearsed piano playing ass. When he did that close up on his face I realized just how UGLY he really was. Christina? Why? They couldn’t find nobody with soul to give a tribute? Guess they knew James Brown would have LOVED to see a White women cover his song. Beyonce was FLAT as hell. Loved Chris Brown, I feel he was the best performance because he put his heart into it. And I loved the clown session with Jaime Foxx, he’s going to be himself no matter what. One thing, why do the Black performers only get about 3 minutes of stage time, but we got to sit through 20 minutes of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Carrie Underwood? I took a shit and came back when that was on. BORING!

One more thing, Did anyone notice that Fergie can’t read? That Bitch was stuttering over more syllables than my 4 year old niece. Wyclef and Shakira worked it out also, I see Beyonce did a wonderful job of toning down her pose on the red carpet FINALLY.

I was dissapointed in Bee’s performance, she was a little off tonight.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE proves once again that he is nothing but an over hyped thieve of black music with his Elementary Piano playing skills and wack falsetto.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA can scream all she wants but she will never find real soul inside of her damaged vocal chords.

MARY J. BLIGE did her thing and sounded great. Took it home with two performances.

Funny thing that I noticed is they lumped the singers with actual talent into one long boring performance. They made John Legend, Corrine Bailey Rae, and John Mayer perform the slowest songs on their albums in order make no talent Justin Timberlake look good.

SHAKIRA and WYCLEF did their thing and finally found some type of chemistry on stage.

BEYONCE made the mistake yet again by trying to prove that she a vocalist. She has a nice rich sound for pop, but when you put her voice to a stripped away piano arrangement, she comes up a little bit short. Just like her real hair.

CHRIS BROWN knows that he is an entertainer and he stayed true to that and that made his performance great. Beyonce could learn a thing or two from him.

GNARLS BARKLEY did a great job and stayed true to their alternative sound.

LUDACRIS sheered the braids, put a suit on, and made a crossover album. Rappers, this is how you win a grammy.

Carrie Underwood needs to sit the fuck down.

In conclusion, the Grammys was boring. There was no standout artist this year. I wanted Prince to perform again like he did on the Superbowl. But it is nice to see Mary J. get her props.

I saw most of the show, but was Christina’s performance the only tribute to James Brown? I was watching it with the fam and we swore that Usher was gonna come down them stairs and do something. If that’s it, than I have to say it was not a fitting tribute to James Brown. Although Christina blew the house down and gave an amazing performance, James Brown gave electrifying, fun, in your face performances. I’m disappointed that the Grammy’s decided not to honor him in the same fashion he entertained us all.

Beyonce- beyonce was definately laid back with her performance,she wasn’t dramatic(over the top) or vocally agressive like she usually is,though according to mtv.com,she was sick with the stomach flu and was still recovering,so thats explains why she was mellow with the performance coz y’all know bee would have torn that song up like she did on oprah.yet she still showed up and performanced under those condition(now thats freakin professional)

christina- she was alright,nothin spectacular but the usually unecessary run and hollering,makin the song sound souless.screaming and hollering with excessive runs does not equate to being souful.sometimes less is more.

mary- mary was alright,but as usally she sings off key like crazy and strains to hit them notes,but luckily she made up for it in her second performance.

I didn’t notice until the end of the show that there was no host.Jamie Fox made me laugh at the beginning even though no one else did.That girl singing with JT looked like she missed practice when they were teaching the dance steps.Justin was like “you got my dance?” And she nodded like she had it.I’ll just calk it up to nerves because her singing was even off at times,and I know she can sing.

Oh Chris Brown Did His Thing As Well, An Looked Nice, I Wanted Him Ta Win, He Was Jus Sweatin All Over The Place! Still Love Him Tho.

I didn’t watch the whole show, just bits and peices.
I am glad MJB won some Grammy’s it’s long overdue.
Everybody looks nice, with the exception of George Clinton, who is a permenant hot ass mess!

If anybody on this board want to call somebody a hater, they can, and you know why because people can do what they want to do. And I’m not trying to be ignorant. And I’m not trying to argue with nobody because really argueing on a board doesn’t prove anything because we’re not face to face. So if I decide to say that somebody is hating because I feel as though they was hatin’ then that is what the fuck I’m going to do. Because to tell you the truth, I can say what the fuck I want to say and so can everybody else.

That was one of the grammy’s best shows yet, I actually didn’t find myself getting bored and turning the channel after a couple minutes.

- Mary J’s performance was okay. I feel her on all the struggles that she went through, but I can just hear someone in the audience thinking, “All right, I been to all these damn shows, she can skip her speech about finding herself and move onto the song now.

- Justin’s first performance killed it until he picked up the camera and wouldn’t let it go. I love him, I really do, but someone should tell him when you are sweating that much step away from the lights. (And who else was wondering, during his second performance, when is he going to grow some balls and just step out with a black chick..you know, he has to be tired of the blondes by now)

- Christina killed it. No one can TOUCH her in the industry today. Don’t sleep!!

I loved Christina, she did an amazing job. I wish Chris had won something. I thought Beyonce was just thrown in there because ‘listen’ should not have been performed AT ALL. Her hair and outfit was a mess too. Rhianna looked stunning!, Ciara’s dress was really ugly. And Mary didn’t disappoint me with her looks tonite. I was glad to see Red Hot CPs perform and that Justin T. winner sucked major ass.

Just wondering…..why wasnt Jay-Z there with Beyonce??

When they kept saying more surprises coming up I was waiting for Whitney to come out & blow the roof off or a really nice tribute to Levert…oh well

BOY, do i have a mouthful to say: for starters, Hate Toccora and Beyonce’s dresses(remind me of my prom dresses from the 1980’s)…Loved the suits that Mr. Timberlake, T.I,Ludacris,and Mr. Hamilton and Akon wore…they looked like men properly dressed for the occasion…Jamie Foxx’s daughter is so pretty(is his baby momma white???)…George Clinton…WTF???!!?!?was he there for the grammies or to panhandle??…Omarosa was dressed for vacation(talk about tacky on the glam carpet)…and to the chick in the dark purple dress in Danity Kane, i got one word for you…BRA!!…and Ms. Queen Latifah, girl i love you to death, but hang up the curtain cloth soon as ya get home…

Everyone looked really good. Big up to Mary J. I see Armarosa got a boob job so she won’t continue to look like a hermie… George Clinton needs to get it together as the pioneer and representer of blacks in the industry. Rihanna’s dress is bang’in.

oh, and what was up with that dance that lady was doing with Justin Timberlake?????????????????i nearly choked on my spaghetti and meatsauce dinner watching her dance????????????????????????????????????
