Toni Braxton was honored a couple of days ago with a star on the Las Vegas Walk Of Fame.Toni has been performing before sold out crowds at the Flamingo since last year and even agreed to have her contract extended until August of 2007. The prestiges star is awarded to performers who have helped make Vegas famous and has only been given out to 3 performers prior to Toni.

Toni was also presented with a check for autism research in name of her son Diezel who was diagnosed with the disease last year. Autism now strikes 1 out of every 150 children in the United States and has become nothing short of an epidemic.

WOW!! That’s great especially since they said that only three people before her have a star. I’m glad she is getting some recognition. Her last album, LIBRA, was off the chain and I don’t think it did very well in sales.

I lived in Vegas for a year and I never even knew they had Walk of Fame. Anyway, good for Toni. She’s talented and deserves it even though the Flamingo is old and needs to be remodeled at least she’s the headliner.

No it’s not too late for Toni to recieve a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, because later on this year Mariah Carey will be receiving her star on the Walk Of Fame, and u think she would’ve been had her star.

i am happy toni is gettin some accolades after her turbulant career, but i have to admit that she doesnt have it like she use too. she did a horrible performance at the all star game halftime show. it was boring and she was mumble every word she sang. the performance was uneventful. maybe she should just give it up and go back to acting. sorry toni.

Thanks Tiana. For the NBA game Toni wanted to sing a slower song, but they told her to sing those faster numbers. Toni did a good job, but we all know her voice shines when she stands still and just SANGS and she does just that in Vegas, the Gospel Version of You Mean The World To Me is amazing and she also plays the piano and sings “This Will Be” by Natalie Cole its really a great show, so much love to Toni, she deserves it!

Having a child with autism myself I don’t see how she has the time or ENERGY to be doing so much lately. I don’t have money or a nanny though. Got to get on that. Glad for her. People, educate yourselves about autism because it will be coming to your world soon thru you, family, friend, or co-worker. 1 in 150 births are of autistic children.

Music is just not the same! Most of the stuff has been trash, and the good CD’s (Amerie’s last one) sits on the shelf. (Of course with the exception of Mary, her shit always moves units).
I did not know Toni has a heart condition? Then her son with autism, I read on of these blogs about how she found out and then they had an audio of her telling her story and crying! It made me cry to hear her telling it, I wish I could find that link and attach it!
She has been through alot, and I hope that she is stronger and wiser from it.
