I’m not even going to comment on some negative posts here. For starters, I loved the video! Even if this ‘concept’ has been done before, NO ONE has done it like it Ciara has. Whatever she does she puts her all into it and that’s why I love her. As far as her singing goes, no she isn’t the best singer. She doesn’t have the pipes like Mariah or Whitney, but I still don’t cringe from listening to her voice. As far as the Aaliyah comparisons go, that mess needs to end sometime soon. The same arguments people have are so old man it’s ridiculous. Whenever I see Ciara dancing I just see Ciara. Whenever I hear a song of hers I just hear Ciara. I guess that’s just me though. Also, why do fans of Ciara keep arguing with people that hate her? The ones who hate ciara already have their biases when it comes to singers, so why waste you energy? It’s stupid and pointless. I’m not a fan of Beyonce, but I am not going to find every entry on Beyonce just to comment on how much I think she stinks. I’ll leave that up to other posters who get off on giving out negativity.

Bottom line, the video was simply amazing. I didn’t find it creepy at all, but that’s probably because I’m a tomboy too. I just loved the video man. I don’t have a problem with how her body looks at all either. She’s a dancer, and therefore she will be more toned up than some people. I mean why the hell does she need to be thick when women who are ‘thick’ become fat as hell later on in life? That ‘thickness’ is nothing but fat, so why should Ciara eat more just to be ‘thick’? I guess I have my own biases, because I love the athletic look. It just looks healthy to me. I’m not saying anorexic is ‘in’, but there is nothing wrong with being fit and toned/muscular. Hell even Angela Bassett is muscular and she still is a lady. I mean Ciara is a tomboyish lady who really can’t be defined by anyone. She’s comfortable as she is. I think that’s what drives people nuts, that they can’t define Ciara as they see fit. If you think about it, what is the definition of feminine? Is it skirts, heels, makeup, long hair, and womanly curves? Not every woman is going to be feminine, and I guess therein lies the problem.
