Well I hope that since he is making videos talking about NO and hurricane Katrina he can also talk about the recent storms that took even more homes and how FEMA has yet to respond. I don’t care if people give money to a cause it is nothing like getting dirty and going there to actually help. Because when I see recent pics of NO I cannot see ANY progress with the money that was donated.

THE VIDEO WAS PERFECT. IT WASN’T NOTHING TOO BIG AS FAR AS FLASHY AND OVER THE TOP. IT WAS SOMETHING BASIC SO THE VIDEO WOULDN’T TAKE AWAY FROM THE SONG, AND WHAT IT WAS ABOUT. A LOT OF PEOPLE LIKE A SONG JUST BECAUSE THE VIDEO WAS HOT. THIS WAS GREAT AND DEFINETLY WELL DONE.

The world needs to see the aftermath of Katrina. New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast are surviving but far from developed. I commend Jay-z, especially for critique of the INaction of those involved in the recovery effort – including himself! “Ponied up a mill, but I didn’t give my time/ so in reality, I didn’t give a dime or a damn.” Gotta love it.
this is just for people who hate Jay-Z for being himself. Somebody made a comment that he only made this song or video to sell records and that his cd is flopping. I invite you all to visit billoard.com, Kingdom Come has already sold more than 2 million records. So lets end that. And listen to the lyrics. So many people are caught up in dancing and snapping their damn fingers that they can’t catch a message if it fell in their lap. Over this next year the “good” rappers will begin to make more mature music after hearing music Jay is putting out. Understand what the man is doing. If you’re over 21 and you think D4L are good rappers, Jay-Z’s album is made for you. Hip Hop — PLEASE GROW UP!
