Hey peeps, it looks like we got another edition of “When Did She Rock It Better.” This time it’s Sanaa Lathan rocking the same exact outfit to two different events.
First she rocked it back in August at Cynthia Garrett’s “Love Conquers All” Jewelry Collection, and then she wore it again last week at Russell Simmons’ Green Initiative Launch luncheon.
I don’t see a problem with them rocking a outfit more than once, but at least switch it up a little.
I like the first one better with her hair up, you can see her face better. She is so pretty.

the boots just don’t look right w/the dress. i guess it’s ok to rock the dress twice (though i don’t condone it. celebs have enough money to go to SPECIAL events with different clothes. you wanna go to the store in the same pair of jeans all the time , fine but a special event calls for new clothes) but at least switch something up. she could’ve changed the boots for instance

When you are celebrity, you’re not supose to live like normal people! Why chose to go into a profession and then violate its unwritten rules? If you’re a politician, you don’t get drunk in public. If you’re a preacher, you don’t cuss people out from the pulpit and tell them where to go! Even if they need it! If you are a realitor, you don’t show up driving a hoopty! If you work in close quarters, you don’t show up smelling funky!
There are rules of the game that you follow in any profession! And, this chick knows better! There are stores that sell dresses like the one she was wearing for $12. She should have 100s of those dresses! Buy it, wear it, give it away or burn it! I have never seen Oprah wearing the same outfir! I’m sure she does, but I can’t remember when! Hell, even Aretha knows how to keep her tires rotated!

That dress is ok but not good enough to wear twice. The hair in the 2nd pic looks better. I think she paid alot of money for the dress though bcuz that style had just come out in August. But now she could buy that same dress for like $80 bucks. She should give that dress up to a lil cousin or close friend.

Celebs go to parties so much whether it be for promoting, support, fun, or business that I could definitely understand them losing track of what outfit they wore 8 months before. They’re regualr people who just live their lives. No matter how rich you are, no one’s going to spend money just to make sure that they appease the public by wearing a completely different outfit to every public event they attend. I’m just sayin…

First picture is the best, but it confuses me why wear the same dress? for people saying why spend money on new clothes nope that wrong..fashion designers loan you outfits for events on your name alone, celebs have a choice to purchase the outfit later or given for free…I know you like certain outfits more than others but still charity events(luncheons) are still major and dress should chosen with that in mind. I damn sure aint no celeb, but i don’t wear clothes back to back, when i attend events(fashion intern) and if i did i’m going to make sure i space them way apart and at least change my accessories up….anyways i love sanaa great actress.

I think she rocked it better the first time. I don’t think it’s sad that she’s wearing it twice. What I do think is sad is that people are so shallow to think that the stars should wear an outfit only once. Most of the people on hear don’t even wear there cloths once then go buy new ones.
