Halle and Alicia making a movie bout biracialness…? (Lol if thats a word.) Um last time I checked they both were pretty much claiming Black. Of course we know that they are biracial but Ive seen both of them saying that so…but anyways. Multiracial??? No, I think she would be considered biracial. Both her parents are. If 2 Black people have a child, is their child not Black? If 2 white people have a child, is thier child not white? Why wouldnt she be considered biracial, seeing as how she has 2 biracial parents???

How can two Black parents make a biracial child. Her dad is black. Her mom is black. Therefore she is black. Black is defined as 1/8 black blood — which makes her father black. Who’s knows her mom’s lineage, but to be honest it doesn’t matter she’s black. Neither of her parents is completely white so that means she’s not biracial. BTW Alicia Keys could technically be considered bi-racial since she does have a white parent, but she calls her self black.

I am not innocent when it comes to this subject because I used to look at light skinned girls like they were a new breed or something and I have also assumed someone was mixed before just because they were light skinned and had long hair or that a girl was just black because she was brown skinned, but i’ve done a bit of growing up which is something I feel like we all need to do!! come on people we really need to stop condoning ignorance which is all we are doing when we sit up and categorize people by their race and/or skin color!! pretty is pretty and ugly is ugly no matter what color you are and we should stop defining pretty and ugly by what your race is or how dark or light your skin is or even by how long your hair is (because for your info not every African American girl with long hair has a weave which is also a stereotype) because we are all the same color on the inside and isn’t whats on the inside what should really matter anyway!!! let that marinate on your mind for a little bit!!!

She IS bi-racial. Biracial means of two races. Since her parents are both half black and half jewish, that means she is half black and half jewish.

Someone pointed out she has assymetrical features and your correct. Her Parents are Bi-Racial. Dad and Mom’s side is jewish and African American, so that makes her Bi-racial. She’s 50% Jewish and 50% African American. If she has kids with a Jewish man they will be 75% Jewish and 25% African American and vice versa.
I disagree with some of you. Lisa Bonet was “CUTE” at this age but her daughter is gorgeous! she looks nothing like her mother. She may have her shaped face, but she has her fathers features. She is a natural beauty, no make-up needed. Alicia and Beyonce need to buy the whole MAC COLLECTION!

I am dark complected with brown eyes, medium size lips, pointy nose, high cheekbones and almond shape eyes. My natural 3c/4a texture hair is extremely long (waist lenght) which I was growing natural since Apr 1996. When I flat iron it or box braid it, I have a weave or synthetic braiding hair. I get this: Girl I believe in getting a weave but why is it so long? It looks more natural if your weave was shorter. I would never get a weave, black girls just want to be white and i’m thankful what God gave me or this one is my favorite: It’s Unbeweavable (so ignorant) When they find out it’s mine i’m either lying or I am Indian then they want to put their dirty hands in my hair to see if i’m telling the truth.
And yes it’s black people. Yes we are all multicultural. I am Cherokee, West/East Indian, Kittician, Bahamian and Jerusalem/Jewish. If you’ve ever seen one, II look just like the real dark complected indians with long hair. My Paternal Great Grandmother was a 100% Pure Bread Aniyunwiya(Cherokee) woman with the prettiest dark red complexion and long braids down to her butt. She and her tribe resided in South Carolina. Her daughter which is my Grandmother met a Bahamian man in South Carolina. My Great Great Paternal Grandfather was a slave and resided in Florida and had children with a Seminole Indian woman (Children were called Geechies).

Lenny, you have a beautiful daughter. She seems like a very nice young lady. Please try to ensure that it stays that way. Its wonderful to be able to give your kids all the things they need physically but they also need things that money or fame cannot give them. Like love and strong family values that build character and inner beauty.
Also, children need to be taught skills, moral and self-respect and cautioned about the trappings of this world like drugs, alcohol and how everyone in this world does not have their best interests at heart and how to spot friends vs enemies. Please encourage her to be more than just a pretty face. Beauty does have its advantages in this world but as we know it can fade in a blink of an eye.
