Frenchie spoke with the NY Post recently about her thought’s on ‘American Idol’s’ treatment of the Barba scandal.

“I couldn’t help but notice the difference between the manner in which she was dealt with and how I was dealt with,” Davis told The Post yesterday.

“I think it’s fantastic if ‘Idol’ has evolved and I think it’s fantastic she won’t have to go through what I went through four years ago.

“But if the rules have changed, I believe there should be something to make up for the fact that I was humiliated needlessly.”

Fan favorite Davis, then 23, was kicked off “Idol” when it was revealed she’d posed for an adult-content Web site catering to dirty old men.

“I was up-front about those photographs and I had taken them five years before I was on ‘Idol’. . .” Davis says.

“It’s not necessarily something I’m proud of, but not something I regret, either.

“It happened and I was honest about it . . . and weeks later they decided to kick me off the show.

“They said it was because of the photographs, but my photos certainly weren’t sexual.” READ MORE>>>

Frenchie is getting much support from the public. Yesterday morning on ‘The View’, host Rosie ODonnell slammed Idol for being ‘weightist’ and racist. Also yesterday, Project Islamic Hope organzied a protest outside Kodak Theater where the show is taped.

We’ll see how this all pans out through the next couple of weeks because Fox and Idol producers have yet responded, and unfortunately Antonella did not get the boot during last week’s eliminations.
