Jay-Z has reached an agreement to sell his Roc-A-Wear clothing line to the Iconix Brand Group for a reported $204 million in cash, the companies announced Tuesday.
As a part of the deal — which could be worth up to $400 million through sales incentives — the Def Jam president and rapper will retain his role in product development and also enter into a new deal to launch the Shawn Carter Collection, an upscale luxury brand set to debut in 2008. SOURCE
So maybe Jigga does have enough money to pay off a certain baby momma, hmmmm. But besides that, he is on his way to becoming one of the top guns in the industry. We’ll see about this Shawn Carter collection though, I don’t even know anyone who still wears Rocawear.

I know if you are from the five boroughs(meaning NYC)you see Rocawear in every borough. This also includes the suburbs. Jay-Z is doing it big and he will continue to do big things. As long as he stays humble and out of trouble he will always be respected for who he is. He does a lot for his community which I can’t say a lot of other rappers do. The saddest thing about rap right now is that the rappers from NY do not respect and show love for each other. It is very sad. The south and the west show love and NY don’t.
I’m still waiting for the Wu-Tang album, I can’t stand west coast rap anymore.
