With lawsuits pending over singer/actress Brandy’s involvement in the recent car accident in which a woman was killed, she may have to step aside from her position as judge on the TV show America’s Got Talent. According to the New York Post, rock ‘n roll wife/manager and talk show maven Sharon Osbourne has been tapped to replace her.
According to studio sources, talks are “ongoing” with Osbourne, who already appears in the UK as a judge in another talent-contest hit called X-Factor. Both shows are produced by American Idol producer Simon Cowell Fuller.
They’ve got some nerve firing her now. She needs to be working.

She made a terrible mistake and she deserves to receive the necessary punishment but homegirl is going to have it rough for the next couple of years & i doubt she’ll ever have a successful career again. Brandy will not be going to jail over this. Yes, it was negligence and she could face some charges. However, a prison sentence will not happen unless she was under the influence. The only influence that she could have possible been under was that of her lackluster vocal ability, which are shame but not a crime.
