Brandy was spotted in West Hollywood yesterday outside the Bodhi Tree bookstore, which specializes in New Age and other spiritual texts. This is the first sighting of the singer since the news broke about her killing a lady in a car accident.
According to TMZ, the city attorney has yet to decide if charges will be brought against her. I know yall see how she is getting in the passenger side of that Range Rover too.

she looks scared lol
shes prolly watching the Ray-J video in the passenger side.
She looks like she’s lost some weight…stress maybe? She looks nice though.
I’m glad she’s riding instead of driving!
SHE LOOKS GUILTY AS HELL
Good to see out regards of the things that have happen. She’ll be alright.
B looks cute (Lord knows she’s going thru some ish). I hope they don’t charge her for this. $50 million bucks is too much money…
I feel bad for her! And the lady that died.
I hope she’s exonerated!
Big wheels and big feet!
I grew up in the Brandy generation and it’s so hard for me to picture her life the way it is now.
I remember when she was the “oh so wholesome good girl”, sitting on swings and singing “I Wanna Be Down”, now she’s a single mother who’s being accused of vehicular homicide.
What a difference a decade makes.
This too shall pass. “He may not come when you need him but he’s right on time”
She looks guilty.
I’m sure that Brandy feels a tremendous amount of guilt, her actions (although clearly accidental) caused a loss of life. Wouldn’t you feel guilty? That girl does not have a malicious bone in her body and they are being too hard on for what was obviously an accident. She looks great and I wish her nothing but blessings. Come on people, show some support, this could happen to anyone one!
I like her outfit it’s cute, I’m glad to see that she’s being spiritual right now in these difficult times.
She needs to stop driving these steam rollers with the 48″ rims and get a smaller vehicle that she can handle! lol! It is a nice ride!!!
Scientology??? WTF???

I feel really sorry for her. I understand the need for compensation on the part of the victim’s family but that amount is ridiculous. They better be happy I will not be sitting on the jury because frankly they wouldn’t get half of the amount. Had it been the “average joe” they wouldn’t sue for nearly half of that amount. I firmly believe they are taking advantage of her status and for that I have no sympathy for them. I do sympathize with her children and do believe they should be awarded some damages but $50,000,000 come on now. As if anyone needs that much money to be cared for. That is FLAT OUT GREED. And they will never get that much. I think their lawyer probably started with a high number knowing he wouldn’t get it but also knowing that any number below will seem better and Brandy will likely want to settle due to the embarassment. Afterall, he or she will get probably 1/3 of the money so there is an interest in asking for a lot. If I were her, I wouldn’t give it to them, I would fight it to see how low they are willing to go and then settle.
When people do really bad car accidents is changes the way you look at things. She may be scared to drive or listening to her lawyers “SON’T DRIVE RIGHT NOW. THE MEDIA MAY SAY OR PRINT THINGS THAT WILL MAKE THE CITY ATTORNEY HURRY UP AND PRESS CHARGES”
She looks nice. I like the hat and shirt. Not a fan of people wearing jeans that is too long with flip flops.
Sometimes I wonder if part of the reason Brandy and Ray J seem to have such a chaotic adulthood isn’t because of how sheltered they were as teens. Sometimes I think when a parent has such a tight leash on a chld it tends to backfire. The pressures of having to be perfect tends to get to you. Not so much Brandy, but more Ray J.
I really like Brandy. I’m so split on this. I hate that that lady actually died. And people are saying its due to negligence on Brandy’s part. You have to look at this from the point of view of the victim’s family. I mean damn, she died. And she was a young mother as well. We dont know, but people are already speculating that maybe Brandy was on the phone, or checking emails, or whatever; but we do know she failed to stop in time, hitting the car in front of her, and that car actually hit the victims car causing it to spin out and subsequently get hit by another car. Hopefully in the trial, Brandy’s lawyers can prove that this was an unfortunate accident and that she was not negligent. Uh, i just dont know what’s gonna happen. But i can say this has caused me to really pay attention when i’m driving. I feel for both sides of this unfortunate incident.
OMG I was just thinking about her. I really feel bad for her because I know that was an accident and know her life is basically ruined. I don’t even really like her but I feel for her. SHe need some spiritual help if she gone get thru this.

^I agree with you guys. She didn’t kill anyone (why is it so hard for people to understand that?)
Brandy, you are my girl forever! No matter what happens, God will be there for you. Your family, friends, and fans still love you for you. Just call on God to take away the pain and trust in Him, always.
Although I said that, LOL at Angel, though. Maybe she doesn’t want the media trying to run away with things. We all know that the media blackmails everyone.
Brandy had an accident. She was not drunk driving, and things like this sometimes just happen. If she didn’t have money, the people wouldn’t be trying to sue. What happened is tragic, and she has to deal with the fact that due to her actions, someone died. Maybe she could set up a college fund for the lady’s kid or something.
I pray for both sides of the accident.
hahahaa, thats right, she in the passenger side looking guilty!
@ 5
You know you wrong for that!LOL
But I must agree with meatloaf, people need to stop driving these riddiculously huge cars just because they can afford to. Does lil ol Brandy really need to be riding in such a zonker?I don’t think so. Mr.T would probably find that vehicle too roomy. The bigger your vehicle, the greater the damage it will cause in an accident-logic!.
I must say I am slightly saddened that she has chosen to turn to New Age beliefs at such a time instead of the Christian faith. We may find solace in the Lord alone and we must rely on him in our times of need. But she will still be receiving my best wishes and prayers at this time. Keep your head up Brandy
She looks cute… God bless both families and may he be with them during their time of sorrow.
Sometimes lawyer seek hugh amounts based on WHO the person is:
I believe that Brandy is being unfairly prosecuted, because of her fame.
It was a accident:
speaking of accidents, did you guys here about the 14 year old girl, who got 7 years in prison for pushing a teacher at her school:
Texas Teen Gets 7 Years for Pushing Teacher
By Tracy Stokes, BET.com News Staff & Wire Services
Posted March 28, 2007 – In Paris, Texas, last year, a 14-year-old White girl burns down her family’s home. Her punishment? Probation. In the same town three months later, a 15-year-old Black girl, Shaquanda Cotton, is sentenced to seven years in prison for pushing a hall monitor at her high school.
Shaquanda had no prior arrests, and the monitor, a 58-year-old teacher’s aide, was not hurt, according to Black leaders in the northeast Texas town of about 26,000 residents. But in March 2006, the same judge, Lamar County Judge Chuck Superville, who let the White teenage girl go on probation, convicted Shaquanda of “assault on a public servant” and sent her to prison at least until she turns 21.
Civil Rights Uproar
While the U.S. Department of Education is investigating the incident, the case has civil rights groups in an uproar.
“I don’t understand the judge’s rationale for his decision,” Dr. Howard Anderson, president of the San Antonio Branch of the NAACP, told BET.com.
In highlighting what he called an egregious miscarriage of justice in a town with a long history of civil rights abuses, Anderson pointed to the case of the 14-year-old convicted arson (whose name was not released because of her age), who was slapped with probation, and the case of a 19-year-old White man in Paris, convicted of killing a 54-year-old Black woman and her 3-year-old grandson with his truck. The latter, he said, was also sentenced to probation and told to send the family a Christmas card every year.
“Then you have Shaquanda’s case,” Anderson said. “She pushed a hall monitor, and she gets seven years confinement? If I look at all three of these sentences, and I’m not a lawyer, I have to wonder what the judicial system is doing. In this particular case, what is this judge doing?”
Gary Bledsoe, an Austin attorney who heads the state NAACP branch, told BET.com that Shaquanda was merely trying to defend herself.
“All she (Shaquanda) did was grab the aide to prevent a strike,” Bledsoe said. “It’s like they are sending a signal to Black folks in Paris that you stay in your place in this community, in the shadows, intimidated.”
Its not that serious. A car wreck can happen at anytime. Its not like she was drunk driving or anything. We all take our eyes off the road at times. Even if its only long enough to see what your child in the backseat is doing, change the CD player, answer the cell phone. WE ALL DO IT and if you say that you don’t I will say I think you’re lying. Either way it wasn’t deliberate. A lot can happen in a split second, although what happened in her case was very unfortunate. Damn!
Accidents happen everyday and This could happen to anyone. That’s a very scary thought. I feel for her and the family of the lady that died and either way it goes somebody’s life is gonna be change forever.
1) Just like to say Hi Bill!!!!For the last couple of days on this blog I have been wondering “where the hell is President Bill”?We needed you to restore some peace & sensibility up in this place.
2)That story you posted just shows that as black people in this country we have no reason to rest or close our eyes to what surrounds us. To be honest I’m not too shocked because I often read of grave miscarriages of justice against black folk in Texas. However the life of this poor young girl should not be ruined simply to make an example of her to other black people. We must make our voices heard & resist this apathy and complacency which we have become accuustomed to. If we all band together over this issue then we as black people could rather use this case to send a message to the white oppressors that we will not be discriminated against in silence.
New Age…Spiritual Text?
Brandy I don’t know if you still messing with the science stuff. If you are; you need a Bible and a Church the Lord made all your dreams come true don’t stop believing now this is when you need him most.
Seven years, Bill? And the white people get nothing? Ain’t America grand?
Hi Maya
Hi MJ (RNB)
When people say that Racism doesn’t exsist, it make me wonder if they REALLY read the news…
po thang
HI BILL!
I’m glad to see she’s finally out and about. She’s going through so much and trying to get help is hard for her because of her fame. She’s trying to spirtually build her life back together and yet the media makes up stories about her fighting in church and reading “new age” books.
I think that it is good that she got out of the house. Maybe now she can stop blaming herself. I am glad she is reading books that can help her in this situation. I am sure Brandy has turned to God on this and I am sure that she is doing what she can to get her life back on track. I think we just need to support her, like Britney Spears fans support her in her worst time. Brandy is human even through her family tried to make it seem as if she was all goody, goody; this just goes to show you that she is human. I think that she looks good, considering everything that she is going through. And at this time we need to be supporting her.
she probably scared to drive.
To Bill:
Yea I heard about that the other day. A local radio station had people calling in telling how they felt about the situation. A white girl called and had the nerve to complain about everyone saying that it was a black white issue. I mean am I the ignorant one to think that that’s what it was, or is she the ignorant one? Because however you view the case, there is no way that sentence should have been given.
Ms. Jayel.
Racism is alive & well in TEXAS
hahaha she looking like these got dayum papprazzi’s
COSIGN WITH #20 AND WHOEVER SAID THESE RAPPERS NOT GOING TO JAIL (FOXY) SO I HOPE BRANDY DON’T EITHER.
AND BILL THAT IS SO TRUE. MY FATHER AND OTHER COMMUNITY LEADERS JUST WENT DOWN THERE YESTERDAY TO PROTEST.
AND GET THIS: A WHITE BOY RUNS OVER A LITTLE BOY AND HIS GRANDDAD AND KILLS THEM. AND ALL HE GETS IS PROBABTION AND HAS TO SEND THE FAMILY A CARD EVERY YEAR SENDING HIS CONDOLENCES.
I AM A TEXAN BUT THIS IS A BUNCH OF BULLSH**.
Photographers should leave her alone after all this mess, give Brandy some rest in this land of stress.
Keep that bitch away from the wheel. She shouldn’t even be able to sit in a car, let alone drive one.
I feel bad for anyone that is involved in an accident but in this case I don’t have much sympathy for her. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have any animosity towards her as an individual but when we make mistakes there are always repercussions especially when a life was taken away. She was on her cell phone on a busy interstate in over crowded Los Angeles.
Another reason why I’m not too fond of her actions nor am I a fan is because after watching the scene on Ashton Kutcher’s show “Punk’d”. It clearly shows how celebrities try to get off on their fame. She wanted to get off the hook by pleading to a black police officer that she is a celebrity. Her exact words were “Brother, you know who I am, don’t act like you don’t watch me on T.V”
Now that was just her brother playing a evil prank on her on the show so imagine what happened at the horrific scene that caused this woman her life. Brandy walked away from the accident with not even a ticket for the accident. Ordinary people (non-celebs) would’ve been spending at least one night in jail for reckless driving.
pinklibradiva, Sure your right !!!
In Texas, A 19 Year Old White Male kills a 54 year old Black Woman and her grandson.
He get’s probation
“the case of a 19-year-old White man in Paris, convicted of killing a 54-year-old Black woman and her 3-year-old grandson with his truck. The latter, he said, was also sentenced to probation and told to send the family a Christmas card every year”.
Hopefully, Brandy can receive a similar type of grace

With all due respect, HOW DO YOU KNOW SHE WAS ON HER CELL PHONE ????
That has never been stated or reported.
Quite frankly, NO ONE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED !!!
* That why she hasn’t been charged, because the prosecutor can not PROVE what REALLY Happened !
Dag, Why do people want Brandy to go to jail or a CAR ACCIDENT, that wasn’t her fault ???
It to bad, that someone died, but that wasn’t HER FAULT !!!
I think its smart that she not driving. Somebody should show Viviva, dude from Black Eyed Peas, Nicole Richie, Eddie Griffin, and the rest of them no driving ass celebs to the passenger seat!

There should be a word limit on this joint….Gosh!
The girl already has to heal her soul after that terrible event, CAN’T PEOPLE JUST LEAVE THE WOMAN ALONE? The media get on my nerves. Leave the girl alone, she’s miserable enough, stop harrassing her!
TAM are u refering to me? tramp! tam the tramp? lol
With all due respect, why are people bringing up Beyonce ????
You know, that just plain idol worship.
It’s ridiculous.
Glad Brandy is on the passenger side. She does look a little shook, but I’m really feeling that whole look of hers! Not all that makeup, and “innocent” looking. A regular ol’ chick.
She could get it right about now. Wish her well given the circumstances.
@Diamond Princess..
I am feeling you though about that “Punk’d” episode. It rubbed me the wrong way too.
