With Ciara’s latest album, “Evolution,” she has really made a transformation as an artist. Although the new album had a few holes, it really showed that Ciara is serious about proving that she is an artist, and selling herself as an entire package. With that being said, cuts had to be made from the album. Which is why “Addicted” didn’t make the album. Not only is the whole “I’m addicted to you, I’m an addict to your love, you got me fiendin’…” kind of a played concept for songs, the track as well as lyrics kind of sound like “Get Up” part 2, or even reloaded. But you know I’m always down to hear the stuff that was left off the album.

I think she has grown into her voice just a little its a working process she just shouldn’t dance and sing at the same time then its just wrong. She stepped it up a little but she has a long way to go. Singing is a natural gift. Either you have it or you don’t. Ciara’s voice isn’t going to get any better than what we are hearing. She is simply not a strong singer.
As far as her cd, it’s ok. I like it more and more with each listen.
Ciara is like the new janet, except with better vocals and better dance moves. I don’t compare the two but I strongly feel that way; just like usher is like a new michael jackson.

I think she sings better than people give her credit for. She gets into her dancing at the same time while she sings. It puts her out of tune sometimes but i sure that is a bit challenging to do. I was on http://music.aol.com/ciara and watch her perform “Thugstyle” live. She sounded good. Really, I’m not just saying that. But “Like A Boy” has a different vibe to it than her other songs. With the violin strings, its a lil different for her. She has a light tone, but in her song “Insecure” she took it up a notch. Has anyone heard it? She sounded good. She sung in a different vocal range than usual.

Yes. Whitney was one of the greatest. But besides the dancing she is showing people that she is a good writer as well. Now i am talking about her lyrically. She is writing, singing, and producing her songs. She has drive, which i belive is setting her apart. Beyonce has drive, Alicia Keys has drive, and these women are some of the top leaders in the game right now. Even though Ciara isn’t the best at vocals, she is improving and using what she has. She really gives it. You can tell in her music. Yes, she does have lots of dance songs under her belt, but you have to remember that they are just the singles. Her entire albums give you alot more.

If you look at Goodies and then watch the promise video you see alot of growth in my opinion. Just like you may not like her songs, But I do. Music is the ear of the beholder. And I think ciara is a true entertainer, and yes she’s 10x better than Janet even though she has a different sound.
