After running his mouth about Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone, Dallas Austin has released an official statement via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Every action generates an equal and opposite reaction. My statement about Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone was a reaction to an incident I care not to discuss in any forum, and while I may have felt justified, I do owe an apology to Christina, Joss and their families. The comments I made about Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone were purely an act of retaliation not of malice or cruel intent. As we all have our boiling points, I sincerely apologize as this is not my character nor should I have let anyone’s actions push me to this limit. I have let my family, friends, employees and business associates down with my actions. All content and any malicious statements that were in my control have been removed from outlets that may have posted this. Please accept this as my formal statement and apology to all parties involved.

I am sure Dallas Austin is releasing a statement because his lawyer told him the words…SLANDER, LIBEL and DEFAMATION OF CHARACATER. Because in the real world that he lives in it is all about dollars and lawyers. Do he have documented cold hard proof that Joss or Christina is a HOE? So when Dallas is airing out people dirty laundry he needs to make sure his laundry is clean. Because in the real world that he lives in it is all about DOLLARS and LAWYERS. People are funny. What do you mean you lost a lot of respect for her? A lot of us would probably lose a lot of respect for MOST of us- our dirty laundry just isn’t publicized. People talking about how they lost respect for these women. These women have not said one word and can you blame them at the moment-they probably were blindsided by all of this. Dallas is all over the place right now. Why is it so easy to believe his story without any proof? Is it because he is A. a man, B. a black man or C. these are white women or any women for that matter.
Why are people putting so much stock in his words only. If this stuff happened, then yes it is shady and nasty but throw some shade to Dallas, because he took part in it and abused his position. If a woman came forward and stated that a producer harrased her for sex to get a hot track would you believe the woman? All I can is innocent until proven guilty should be the case.
Another issue I have with this is that had the women had not pissed him off at this time, he probably would not have said anything about this. If this mess with Christina happened years ago then why didn’t he bring it to light then. The only reason he is doing it now is because of revenge not because it was the “right thing to do”. The public gets so hungry for good gossip, they fail to question things, they just go along with the story because it is what they want to hear. Im over this mess.
