We can sugar-coated it and blame it on crap like Laffy Taffy( its no worse than the “Rappin Duke” to me), but when Eve is rapping nonsense lyrics over tired hooks sung by Gwen Stefani and Faith Evans…that is not real hip-hop either. What she should be focusing on is finding MC Lyte’s rhyme books.
