Hollywood Wiretap reports that Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) is playing fellow Oscar winner Forest Whitaker’s daughter in Winged Creatures, now shooting in Los Angeles.
Hudson joins Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Embeth Davidtz in the film, being directed by Rowan Woods (Little Fish).
The story follows the witnesses to a brutal murder suicide in a fast food restaurant as they cope with the aftermath of the incident and how they affect the people who help them along the way.

Probably because the role isn’t that big in this movie, since it has already been filming before she was attached on the IMDB site. The other one was probably for a bigger role. And yes she has expressed interest to do the JACKIE Robinson movie , but that doesn’t shoot til summer.
