The GLAAD Media Awards took place last night- recognizing and honoring “mainstream media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives”.

As for Jennifer, I don’t think any of us are in a place to judge others. There are enough things that I can do to make myself better instead of worrying about others. However, I do see how Jennifer can be seen as being hypocritical for being at a GLAAD event. She’s very outspoken about her Christianity (which she should be), but being at this awards show does not help her cause.

My point, is we don’t look at the totality of ‘sins’. We overlook some, and accept others. And true for those of you who know a lot about religion, (damn! ain’t this suppose to be an entertainment blog) some actions/sins have greater consequences. But isn’t it true, that in God’s eye(s) no one is “better” than the other. If it’s bad, it’s all bad to the same degree.
It’s the judgemental attitude that gets us all in trouble. Cause once we start downing others, we fail to see the plank in our own eyes.
