As the aunt of four teen and tween nieces I don’t even like the idea of them wearing Apple Bottoms (though they do.) I just think that that’s too much for a younger child…he should be sensitive to that and rename it A.B. as someone suggested.

To the person above my comment. Luda and Nelly are on the same level referring to Shady things. Ludacris is the only one out of the two more so who has even put out a song even acknowledging women on that level. Too many rappers are trying to be hardcore to care about women on that level as well. Everyone has a shady past but can change I haven’t seen Nelly do it musically yet. You should take the time out to listen to Luda’s whole album. Luda is one of the few rappers who don’t portray the thug image and is comfortable with himself and his lyrics……. Although I like both of them in different ways Ludacris is the one I admire more out of the two. When ever a man does show some kind of genuine affection to a womans struggle its overlooked as if its a false move trying to get by type of action.

Someone stated that they don’t understand what apple bottom means or why people are having a problem with it, well the problem is that “apple bottom” refers to a female’s a**. So yes, there is a problem with a little girl running around wearing clothes that advertise her rump. I have a 7 yr. old that I would not allow to wear this. I would not allow her to wear this for many reasons and none have to do with my dislike of Nelly ( because I do like him), but because I believe a child should be a child for as long a possible. There are enough things as well as people in this world that will force them to grow up sooner than they need to already. And they funny thing about this is, if Nelly has a daughter, she 9 times out of 10, whould not be seen wearing it. Why? because everything thing that a person sells or promotes, they don’t always want for their family, but they will sell it to yours.
