Robin Thicke’s success with his current single “Lost Without U” is bringing heavy hitters to his concerts. At his New York City show last Thursday, studio honchos Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Andre Harrell and Steve Stoute gathered in a packed club to see if fans were right about the soulful singer/songwriter.
According to MTVNews.com, Thicke raps Lil Wayne’s last verse on “Shooter” on one knee in his shows, using the mic stand as a gun to reinforce the song’s theme.
The R&B Number One “Lost Without U” has boosted sales of The Evolution of Robin Thicke to nearly one million.
Not only will Thicke be getting his ‘film score’ on with wife Paula Patton. It’s rumored that he may be soon joining a well-known pop music diva on tour.
And for all the Robin Thicke lovers out there, here is one of the dopest songs on the Deluxe Edition of “The Evolution of Robin Thicke.” It’s entitled “Superman.” If you’ve been sleeping this long, it’s time for you to wake your ass up.

I like the CD. The last song on there is the best one to me (I’m not sure of the title) but it has a real jazzy feel to it.
Not sure of the “pop diva” he’s going on tour with, but in my opinion, artists like Robin need to play in smaller, more intimate venues. I saw Kem in concert a year or so ago with Angie Stone and some others. It was outdoors in an amphitheater and it just didn’t work for me. Kem needs to be in an intimate setting with his kind of music because it’s definitely for grown folks. Those of us who really were into him were kind of lost in the big crowd of folks who were there to see the other acts. Same thing for Robin. Grown folks are really grooving on his stuff, so I pray he’s not touring with some “pop diva” who will draw a teenie bopper crowd!
And word on the street is that he will be performing at the ESSENCE Music Festival. Now that’s impressive.
I hope he is gonna join beyonce on her us tour because that would be the hottest ticket right there. If his people are smart they will get him on that beyonce tour cause that chick will definitely sell out a show. In houston the other night the and people were heading for her show left and right,it was the hottest ticket in town. almost 75,000 people turned out for her concert. trust me I saw this chick and she put on a hell of a show. You got to give credit where credit is due.

I have been checking out his Billboard charting, and it is very good that this man has found success. One million, hopefully, people will know that he is a true artist. My dad has the CD, and I meant to burn it, or at least download it on my iPod.
The real White R&B artist, not that freak Justin Timberfake. Justin has nothing on him, from what I have been hearing from Mr. Thicke. And Superman is very laid back and romantic.
Im not a huge thicke fan (yeah i remember his hippie days) but i remember him from when he wrote one of mya’s songs back on fear of flying. He sounds too much like Justin timberlake with the high ass voice and all. However if i had a choice, I would pick him over Justin ANY day cause he’s an R&B dude, singing “black” music but he lives the life too.

But I saw him perform on Regis & Kelly and then on the Soul Train Awards and both times he sung “Lost Without U”…. and my ears were bleeding….Now I’ve heard him perform in the past, so I know he can sing..he just needs to refrain from singing that one song!!! That needs to just be a studio song….the high pitch ain’t working.
