Yes people, you read the title right. Music Legend, James Brown was finally put to rest yesterday; 76 days after he died. The legend was put in a crypt emblazoned with the words “Godfather of Soul,” according to Al Sharpton. The concrete crypt was inscribed with Psalm 37:1, Brown’s favorite:
“Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong.”
IN RELATED NEWS, the soul singer’s children are planning to talk with Elvis Presley’s family for advice on how to convert Brown’s home into a Graceland-type museum.

I honestly don’t understand all this. JB was one of our greatest entertainers, and I’m not hating on them for trying to maximize the earning potential of his estate because deceased entertainers seem to earn more than live ones, BUT…
There is NO excuse to not bury the man and let him be. I *MIGHT* go to his old home if it were a museum, but I’m not trying to visit his grave…black folks just don’t do that a whole lot. We barely visit our own folks when they die. We don’t do cemetaries too well.

I heard this morning on Steve Harvey that he may be moved again. They mentioned that he was in his daughters backyard in Georgia. This is sinful that he is not laid to rest. They are planning on putting him in a mausoleum like they did Elvis. Let the man rest already!!!!!

Thank god somebody in this matter stood up and did what was right. The God father of Soul deserved better than this. If they want to make his Estate a museum, the first thing should’ve been to set him up a place for his burial near his house, so the fans could come there and see resting place. For all of you fans here like I am, set this serve as a reminder to have a will so that YOU decide who gets what from your estate, children, ex-wives, baby’s momma, shoever. People can be the best of friends until money gets involved. James, Barry White, Low Rawles, Anna Nicole Smith, Richard Pryor, it happens to everyone. Make provisions for your children, and if you have an ex or a “special friend” around, make whatever your wishes are known in WRITING.
