Fantasia Barrino – Said I Wouldn’t (No More) (full) – download
This is some unreleased Fantasia material. Although the song is solid vocally, and the production is alright, I can definitely understand why this didn’t make the album. It doesn’t really seem to fit in with the overall feel of the album, which was pretty solid in my opinion. Fantasia’s voice is very unique and reminds me a lot of church so it is sometimes weird for me to hear her voice on over-produced R&B tracks sometimes (much like “Not the Way that I Do,” produced by Kwame, which is a cut that actually made the album).
Bobby Valentino – Backside (full) – download
Still haven’t heard many updates about Bobby Valentine’s project, as far as a release date. The last new material I’d heard was “Anonymous,” which The Clutch put it down on. Although, I have seen posters for “Special Occassion” up in the Atlanta area recently. But “Backside,” of course, is a record about a woman’s backside. The record sounds really old school to me, like some early 90′s stuff. I’m still not very fond of Bobby’s voice, but I can’t front on the material that he’s using for the album for the most part.
Lea – Walked Away (full) – download
All of Lea’s material is starting to sound the same to me. But that probably is largely due to the fact that almost all of the songs that have leaked from her have been produced by the Cornerboyz. Her voice still doesn’t do too much for me. But Lea most definitely has a marketable look. I’ve seen her perform once live, and she seems to have some stage presence, considering that she was a guest feature and I was only looking at her. I don’t know, it might interesting to see her come out.
Paul Wall & Trina – Fire (full) – download
Although I’m really a fan of neither Paul Wall or Trina, for what it’s worth, I could hear this song on the radio. And I could actually see people enjoying this song for some reason. I’m not particularly fond of the song though. But then again, everything’s not for everybody. You let me know what you think. The hook is very radio-friendly and kind of catchy.

#1 fukk what you talking about, would you rather here this or Sterling Simms talking about ‘Jump offs’ or ‘Nasty Girls’. You can mostly catch me listening to rap music but….In my opinion Bobby V can do no wrong, he brings that real r&b vibe. (bout the closest one there within the young generation under 30). And i SAY this because when you listen to his music, you actually DO relate to what he is talking about. (unlike these other fools, “who all use that same tired promotion strategy”). Before somebody says well this person is doing their thing too, their not the focus of this post!

I like Fantasia, but it sounds like something off her Free Yourself album.
I heard that Paul Wall and Trina track like a month ago I love it! Bobby’s album is set to drop May 8th.. and I doubt this track will be on the cd. Because him and Luda said all the songs your hearing right now is just to keep you waiting Bobby.. everything will be new.

I really like the Paul and Trina track… but what i really love is the Paul and JD song, I’m throwed he performed at Rip the Runway. Fantasias is ok too.. i really wasnt feeling it.
