And i know you’re entitled to say what you want, but he has a obvious problem, and he needs support right now. He’s trying, and he obviously still has a ways to go. I mean seriously, we supported Whitney through her MANY years of crack/cocaine use. I think K-ci deserves the same. I mean this negro can sang, and who on here didn’t like him when he was a part of Jodeci? Come on, don’t kick a brotha when he down. Maybe he’s just seeking forgiveness and friendship from Mary. But back to this brother with the serious problem, if you watched the video closely, it seems like something significant has happened in his life, and maybe now he realizes the IMPORTANT things of life. At the end of the video, it indicates someone died and he has dedicated this video to that person. Maybe in that death he realizes all the dumb shit and people he hurt and wants to make amends because maybe now he’s conscious of his mortality. I know when someone close to me died, i thought about life, and somehings that i use to think was important just wasn’t anymore, and vice versa. And when you lose someone to death, you are in a vulnerable position because its nothing you can do to bring that person back, and for some rich people, finally being made vulnerable and feeling that vulnerability helps them relate to other people who has been in vulnerable positions due to something they have done, or due to something that could have changed for the person, but elected not to. Sometimes it takes things like this to happen and it helps you relate to what the other person has been feeling. Trust, i’m not making excuses for K-ci, but i think he is sick and has been sick for a long time. In fact, he and Mary has been “SICK” together for a while. She found her way out of the that shit, and now i think he’s trying to do the same. This video is a definitely cry for help and/or empathy.
I like K-ci. Throughout the years he has provided us with good music. He got a voice out of this world and certainly god-given. And while he has lost his way, he is at LEAST TRYING to make a effort to come back. He might be reading some of these comments on here so please, if you can, try to be a bit more compassionate and understanding to a brother who definitely needs help. I feel for him, and i hope he accepts the help i hope people are offering him.
