There are plenty of great female rappers, the thing is that most labels or crew gets 1 female rapper and feel like she’s enough. Also, A lot of labels want to keep signing the next Lil Kim, just like how they want to keep signing a watered down and materialistic 2Pac koon. Before these rich white men got involved with buying hip hop, we had PLENTY of diverse rappers (male and female). It was more true too, because rappers weren’t making money. It wasn’t about the money, it was about the love and passion for hip hop. They are the artists who weren’t willing to sell out. Then you have a group of hip hop lovers posers, who are willing to sell out for a gold chain. They do what ever the label wants.
