So since I wanted to change things up a bit, I decided to dig up 4 things we all probably didn’t know about Golden. You will be surprised at what you learn.
1. Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (with a concentration on “Media Representation of Minorities”) from UC-Berkeley, where she minored in Theater. She went on to earn a Master’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
2. She is a classically trained dancer, both studying and teaching ballet, jazz and modern dance.
3. She was a figure skating competitor and won several trophies when she was younger.
4. She voulunteers with the Pediatric AIDS Foundation and AIDS Project Los Angeles.
I was actually surprised to learn that she is a classically trained dancer. Come on Golden, you have to be doing this on purpose. You concentrated on the Media Representation of Minorities and you’re coming out the house looking like a broke-down black barbie? Something isn’t adding up!

I think you forgot one of her more noteable acheivements. Her Major in H.A.M summa cum laude. her being a dance explains why her body has always been so riddiculously banging. Despite her hamish ways she should definitely be commended for having achieved so much by way of education. As a black, female, celebrity in showbusiness she really is in a very small class with such qualifications behind her. Well done Golden ur doing the damn thing (& generous as well). I wouldn’t be surprised if she was pushing the whole story line about Maya struggling to get back into education after having baby Jambana or whatever. Thats it girl, show the sistas that we are all capable of aspiring to something greater.
