Eve (real name: Eve Jeffers) was driving in Hollywood around 2:45 AM Thursday when she hit the center divider, totaling the front of her car. TMZ was on the scene, and observed that after cops arrived, they placed her in handcuffs, and (according to our staffers) she was “visibly upset” as they led her into a squad car. We’ve learned that there were two people in the car with Eve at the time.
First Vivica, now my girl Eve? Imma need you sistas to get it together and stop driving drunk. According to TMZ, she was just released off a $30,000 bail.
When will celebs learn that they have to obey the rules just like the rest of us regular joes! They make me sick thinking that they can just pay their way out of everything.
And anyway, you shouldn’t need a rule to tell you that drinking and driving is wrong…that’s just common sense and having a respect for life!
Someone mentioned earlier for Eve to step it up b/c we need better role models for our kids. My comment to that is, be a positive role model yourself for your kids and have your kids look up to REAL people in your communities and such b/c some of these celebs ain’t about sh*t!!!! All they want is your damn money!

They didn’t say rather she failed a DUI test. She was shaken up cause she had crashed her expensive car. Who wouldn’t be? They probably smelled alcohol on her breath and assumed she was drunk or under the influence. I feel in this case she may be a victim of circumstance, because so many stars are driving under the influence. I am not going to go by what the media said in this case, cause we all know how they fabricate or exaggerate stories. I really hope these stars know that it is not cool to be driving under the influence. Especially because it may cause a fatality. My brother was killed by a DRUNK DRIVER. Even before his death I have always made sure not to drink and drive. It is dangerous. I still haven’t gotten pass his death. It really hurts to see people constantly do this and not have any remorsefor their actions. When I am going to drink, I make sure I have a desinated driver. I will call a cab if I need to. I DON’T TAKE ANY CHANCES. These stars can definitely afford to get a driver for them. I feel that because of their status they make fun of the law and feel they can do whatever they want. They need to talk to victims of drunk drivers and get a reality check. I it not a pretty picture.

You’re always innocent until proven guilty! That requires a judge to review the evidence and she has a right to a fair trial! Until then, she’s just a suspect! The suspicion is just a formality! I’m sure they put her through a battery of test (which she failed) and made her breathe into a Breathalyzer, which showed her over the .08 legal limit in most States! Oh, and she crashed! That’s another charge!
Now, here’s the irony, I thank God they took her away handcuffed in the back of the squad car, rather than on life support in the back of an EMS vehicle!

Hell, I’VE gotten a DUI in Hollywood. The LAPD is overzealous. Before judging all these stars who have gotten DUI’s in Hollywood, find out what their BAC was. I promise it’s not always what you think. My DUI was dropped to a drunk in public infraction because the prosecutor realized how ridiculous my case was. My officers were still on a high because they had just arrested Paris Hilton.
