So last week BET aired their top 25 dancers of all time. I’ve been hearing that a lot of people were upset with the results. I personally think the list was ok. And after thinking about it for awhile, I decided that my opinion didn’t mean shit because I’m not really into dance that much.
However, I’m still wondering how the hell Chris Brown made it above Janet Jackson and Usher. WTF? And was it me or did Chris look a little cracked out when he was hosting the show? We need to keep an eye on that fool, something ain’t right.

I agreed with the list. Not the order. Beyonce’ & Ciara should switch slots. Diddy need not be on it. I didn’t think Aaliyah was all that great of a dancer..she couldve slid back a few slots. Chris Brown & Usher should’ve swapped.
I knew things would be askew when I tuned in and saw Ciara at number 25. Some of it is accurate– such as James Brown, Michael Jackson, but the rest needs to be re-evaluated.
Ciara is probably the most versatile contemporary dancer of this time so she has got to place higher than Missy, Diddy, Kane, Bobby Brown and Beyonce and others. I can’t stand (I hate) Justin Timberlake, but I would have put him on a list before Diddy.
The Chris Brown/ Janet Jackson diss really discredits BET almost entirely. The boy can dance but I am not for sure he will have so much staying power and inspire so many people like Janet. People still look to the “Pleasure Principle” video to this day for inspiration.
Mya & Paulu Abdul are missing. BET is losing all ground as a credible source these days. I am glad they have Alvin Aliley and some other classic legitimate dancers on their list though.
I agree with James Brown as the nr 1 and michael Jackson as nr 2. But dont understand why diddy is on the list..he cant dance. the guy has got no rythm man. bless
I do not agreed with the results at all. Especially Ciara being number 25. She is an excellent dancer/performer and her choreography is always tight. Beyonce, I don’t even know why she is on the list. I do not call flopping, rolling around on the ground and flinging your arms around like a mad woman is dancing. I believe Usher, Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Omarion and definately Ciara should have been in the top ten. Shakira, Big Daddy Kane and Tina Turner shouldn’t even have been on the list along with a host of other people on this list that didn’t even deserve mention.

See people, before they began they–both Fatima & Chris–said that the candidates were not only scored on their pure dance moves but their performance and ability to inspire. if you look at it that way the only thing that they messed up was putting Ciara at #25 and Diddy on the list at all.
At 44 (about 40), I think they know Amerie is a stiff dancer, I think he was being somewhat sarcastic.
I love AMERIE, but she is stiff. However, she looks good on stage becasue she moves and runs around and is beuatiful.
Ok lets get it stright if you didnt see the show at all. I mad that they put Ciara at number 25 too, but get over it already. Puffy, he used to dance back in the day and thats what they showed on the show, when he was dancin in his younger years. Missy is on the list because of her futurestic type of style and dance(thats what they said). Aaliyah is on there because they said she moved so naturally, plus she is dancer because she went to a performing arts school and was train in both dance and vocal(Detroit school of arts)So please dont say she was not that much of a dancer because list basically on how inivative you are as a dancer and your style. I must admit a few got snub from the list and their number spot. The reason why Beyonce is there is because of her movement in dance her style and spirit of the modern day Tina Turner. Thats why she is on the list so please dont hate on her(thanks). Prince did dancing in heels with alot of momentom so thats why they gave him a spot. Even though I dont agree with his number, his spot deals with alot of stuff, his age, his style, and his showmenship.
