While reading this the firt name I that popped into my head was Ja Rule….but could it??? He had 2 or 3 multiplatinium hit records, toured on one of the highest grossing tours of that year (with Jay-Z, DMX, Mehtod and Redman), and did compilation albums with Murder Inc. All that money cant be gone…..can it? Im sure his wife would have put some money aside to invest.

Mr. P have made several business/personal investments from owning land to gas stations. In addition, his son Romeo has his own show on, I think Nickolodeon. Whomever it is, I feel very sorry for the person. That’s why WE need to educate our youth on have to make their money grow and not how to make money to buy the next pair of Jordans or latest bling.

Being rich isn’t JUST about how much you make, it ain’t about how much you spend on cars, rims and groupies, being rich is about how much you’re able to keep in the bank. When you’ve made a certain amount of money (like 50 cent), you should have money working for you instead of working for it. The richest folks, including in the industry, are not those who work hard year after year, they just know how money works and have smart investment plans. Of course you work hard when you get started, but when money flows, when you get to a certain level, you should not have to work hard anymore. Our community has money but is not rich (like Chris Rock said) because too many of us don’t know/learn HOW MONEY WORKS. Educate yourselves!
