A few months ago i dated a girl who was 1/4 black, her mom was half black, but she kinda looked white if u didn’t look at her close, and ohh shit, the looks the black women gave me, i mean im from the hood and i expected it, but damn. My opinion is that if a person excludes individuals from their particular ethnic group when it comes to any type of relationship (friendship, mates, business etc.) that’s a problem. If a black man only considers white women or any other ethnicity of women other than Black as the only viable/acceptable mating option then that black man is showing a disdain for Black women. Since that Black man came from a Black woman he is showing a disdain for self which is self-hating.
Since you say you date Black women also, you obviously have love for Black women and they for you. So when you are with a non-Black woman and you know in your heart that you like her for reasons other than her ethnicity don’t trip when you get the looks. Remember that Black women have been told that their physical attributes are not the “standard of beauty” (which defies all logic) and the very sass and spirit that enables them to hold their heads high despite of everything else is often attacked and called “attitude” as if it’s a bad thing.

Has Taye Diggs gone on record and stated in an offical interview that he does not and would not ever date a black woman? If someone has a link to that interview or one similar in which he (Taye Diggs) states that black women arent ,have never , will never be an option or something similar please post .
I dont question peoples dating choices as much as others might simply because I have come to realize that people will love , date, and share companionship with whom they choose to. It isnt necessary to walk around with a chip on ya shoulder everytime you see an interacial couple. If he werent with her , would he be with you?Im a black woman also( for those who might be wondering and I choose to date (when I date that is) black men exclusively.However that is my choice aka preference. I dont have a problem with a black man who falls in love with a woman , who happens to be nonblack. This could be a PR stunt for his new show (Grey’s Anatomy Spin-Off)! His people are probably trying to show that he doesn’t Hate Black Woman! He was really salty when his last show failed. Him and the media tried to blame black woman for his show failing. Apparently, we’re supposed to be pissed off because he’s married to a white woman. Yeah Right! I could care less! I often ask what she is doing with him. The show failed because he just doesn’t have mass appeal. And of course it has nothing to do with his Funky attitude! He should stick with Broadway. He didn’t come out and say anything directly, but you be the judge. His dating/marriage choice hasn’t been a factor to me in my choice to watch or not watch his roles. He simply isn’t as talented an actor as everyone tried to maek him out to be. He’s fine and that’s what kept our attention.
