I do miss Jill’s character on the show…the show is still good, her and Golden Brooks are my favorite characters…they give me drama and make it funny.

@ #27 She left Girlfriends over money. Some say she got played. The other girls all decided that they would hold out with the network for a certain amount of money. They all decided together. However, when the time came, the other girls settled for less and Toni still kept holding out. The network told her, OK Bye. We dont need you that badly.

I hated Toni’s character, but i guess loving to hate her was what made the show good. I dont watch the show anymore either and Nia Long has always been beautiful, I hope when i get older i look as good as she does.
I think Jill Marie (Toni Childs) made Girlfriends gell together, without her I think the show has gone downhill with not much substance because Jill brought alot of drama. Nia looks really good. And people please stop critizing your own people. Just support, no rude comments. If you are black you have special features like Jill Marie’s lips. They are our treasures the white folks go to surgery for that stuff so no negative comments I think both ladies are beautiful in their own right.
@ 22 that actress who played Toni’s mum (& was also related to Vivian in the fresh prince) is one of the best comedic actresses around. Her husky voice & aggressive delivery just gets me everytime, even when she has shitty lines. I personally love Joan’s big ol bug eyes, they add an extra element of comedy (especially when she’s surprised!!!lol). Jill’s “dick sucking lips” as you you so classily call them are gorgeous. I don’t dine on fish but theres something very attractive about women with plump full lips (extra kissable). Jill seems just like Toni (high maintenance & fabulous) but she really need to step her forehead game up (or down or whateva). Get a lacefront sweets. To me Toni was annoying (whiny & bratish) and I could have done without her and the slutty hippy one. Just give me classless & egregious Joan Clayton & sassy Maya all day long

Personally, I still watch Girlfriends. Granted, there’s nothing else on. But still… I think Jill looks good. She looks better than Golden would. Just saying. Nia looks hella relaxed. It would be nice if Nia would open herself up to some more diverse roles. Other than that, I think they both look great.
I admit Girlfriends ain’t shit w/o Jill but I’m tryna give it a chance. And what the fuck… they tried to replace her with Christina Vidal but that ain’t work so now they tryna make Monica the new Toni or whatever is a H.A.M. since she left. She made the show what it was. And I see why. She on point in this pic but an iron would’ve worked wonders.
