The Atlanta Film Festival’s Opening Night Film and After Party for VH1’s “Last Days of Left Eye” took place last night. Guests included Monica, Big Boi, 112, Free, Ceelo, Tamyra Gray, India Arie, and Ron Devoe. Sue me, but I never knew that Ron was married to the singer from Blaque.
“Last Days of Left Eye” chronicles her spiritual retreat to Honduras, leading all the way up to her eventual death. I’ve heard about this documentary before, as it has been previously shown at past independent film festivals.

I love seeing us at film festivals. It’s about the only place you won’t see us coonin in theaters. Big up to Left Eye. I attended her funeral and it was very moving especially when Mary Mary performed. I think it might take me awhile before I can watch her documentary though.
Let’s see… Where to begin. I ain’t even recognize Tamyra. She looks good. She kinds reminds me of a young Debbie Allen. Nice to see her with her mom. But where’s Tamyra’s husband from Color Me Bad? On a side note… Why is Tamyra’s mother wearing a bellbottom sleeve shirt? Dem thangs went out with wearing chokers and listening to well Color Me Bad.
