“There is no truth to these ridiculous rumors,” a spokesperson for Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com exclusively. “People should be ashamed of using this kind of story and exploiting a child for publicity and ratings.”
Scott and Jay-Z met on the set of Jay Z’s video “Big Pimpin” in 1998.
According to reports, the boy was born Jan. 30 2002 in Los Angeles.
Pictures of Jay-Z, Scott and their alleged child have been circulated across the internet and printed in tabloids in recent months, sparking debates as to who the father of the child is, despite the fact that another man’s name is officially listed on the child’s birth certificate.
Meanwhile, Shenelle is off doing interviews with magazines – the most recent being with Hip Hop Weekly…

Well, I think the baby is Jay’s. If you read the interview in Hip Hop Weekly, the interviewer did ask her if she still talks to Jay; she said occasionally and if they have to. Yet, she didn’t want to talk about what a typical conversation they might have.
Then she was being all suspicious about whether or not the father lives in the States but admits he doesn’t live in Trinidad. Yet, bodly states that Malik Sayeed isn’t the father, but on the question of it being Jay’s, she didn’t want to answer.
Technically, the rumor is whether or not she was paid to keep quiet about his involvement not a question of paternity. And he technically didn’t respond, a rep did, which means technically he didn’t respond…he didn’t have a rep speak for him when he was going through that ordeal about Cristal…think about it.

Well, if you listen to the interview the girl said herself that she wasn’t given a million dollars. She said she talks to Jay when she needs to, but why would a video model keep in contact with a rap mogul that she had a sexual relaitonship with who is in a committed relationship? #52-That’s how I see it too-PR SPIN at its best! They knew that people would take that vague response and run w/ it and turn it into, JAY Z SAYS HE IS NOT THE FATHER. Well why did his PR rep DECLINE COMMENT for the article in this week’s IN TOUCH WEEKLY that ran a full page story questioning whether he is the father. Why not use the opportunity to let a national publication know that he is not the father and Shenelle is merely playing with his name for publicity? Maybe the answer is because he can’t.
From what I know, she didn’t put this story about the child out there, someone else leaked it, and that’s why it’s just now coming out and everyone is working to cover their previously well hidden tracks.
