Last night, Halle showed off her petite body at the premiere of ‘Perfect Stranger’, which hits theaters this Friday. I plan on seeing the movie, that also costars Bruce Willis. It’s good to see Halle back on the screen and on the red carpet, instead of at the Whole Foods with her man.
She looks plain. but at the same time, she is comming across as too sexy. I think halle is an attractive women. White,Black or Bi-racial.And if she still looked like that she’s still attractive.

Perfect face, perfect body, not too thin, and not too thick. She’s not small on the top, with big elephant trunks for thighs and legs, whether they are shapely or not (i’ve seen women who look like this and they think they are the bomb, please, proportion looks better any day!) She’s dont have tiny thin legs, with a big hump back like the hump back of notre dame (yet i’ve seen some women shaped this way, they can’t help it, but you get my point. Halle is just simply physically appearance wise in my opinion perfect. I can say this cause I’m no hater. All the haters are going to try and talk about any little, teeny, weeny, insignificant thing just to say she is blemished, whether it be her career or whatever, even tho the women has symbols of success all around her (a star on hollywood walk of fame, oscar, etc.) Grow up, deal with it. I think if most women could draw their perfect body, they would draw halle’s. This is not true across the board of course. I’m sure there are some people who would choose something else, but what. Nothing is too small or too big. Just my opinion.

But the main reason why Im commenting is some of the comments about Monster’s Ball and Halle Berry winning the Oscar for it. People get in an uproar about a sex scene. Hello its called ACTING. I remember watching all of the best actress nominees that year, and Halle deserved to won the Oscar that year. Why dont people comment on the final scene of the movie which in my opinion was the most devastating scene bc she finally learns that the man she has grown to love executed her husband, and she has decide to either stop loving a man who basically took her in or just let the past go. The reason why Halle won the Oscar was because any actor can take their clothes and strip bare, but when you bare yourself EMOTIONALLY, you resonate. That is why she won and deserve the Oscar! End of my diatribe.

For the most part, Oscar winning movies arent even movies that are popular, some of them i never even here of them until they hand out awards for them, I think the Academy Awards industry is slipping, wake up! I will just add that the sex scene wasnt about the sex, and you really shouldnt have been turned on by that scene. So much emotion was conveyed on Halle’s face during that scene, very powerful stuff although i watch an edited version of monsters ball and i still understood the scene so maybe just maybe it didnt have to be so hardcore and in your face.

U know you are one of the few people who truly understood what that scene represent. I guess its a matter of opinion, but honestly Halle is one of our best actresses, black or white. I knew she was a great actress when she did Queen, because it takes considerable skill to portray different ages. I have taken acting classes and Halle is definitely a role model. In the last scene of Monster’s Ball, her facial expression said so much, and that also takes skill to convey non-verbally. It just saddens me how Halle cant win when it comes to our people. People say she only won bc of the sex scene, some say because she is mixed. Honestly some of our people cant never be satisfied, if she didnt win people who have said something, but she won and people still have something to say. Geez.

The problem with Monster’s Ball is that if you pay close attention to the storyline, you’ll see that the black men, who meant anything to the character of Berry’s role were eradicated (i.e., Husband: P-Diddy and Son).
The explicit sex scene was not well received by Black Americans because it parallels the realism that has taken place in this country, since African/African-American inception.
Mos Def’s character was the only African American male, who displayed any strength, as he defied Billy Bob Thornton’s character. Think about this (subliminally), why couldn’t Berry’s character be happy with a black man? America still has a problem with the sexual prowess of African American men. If you don’t share this comment, name 10 films (mainstream), where a black, male lead engaged in explicit sexual relations with a caucasian woman?
Berry gained notariety because her on-screen counterpart was a white male. Let’s imagine that the male lead was Denzel Washington. Do you think that the movie would have received national acclaim, as it did? Do you think that Berry would have won the oscar?
