I know I’ll probably get a whole load of hate for this but to be perfectly honest I don’t think Halle deserves a star. Apart from Monster’s Ball she hardly has a decent back catalogue of really impressive performance (unlike the Meryl Streeps of this world). In the past her roles have been very very forgettable (eg.the chick in leather in X-Men, the ho in animal print in the Flinstones, the topless chick in Swordfish, the chick in leather in Catwoman). She reppin for us blacks no doubt and she’s making that paper but is she really worthy of this accolade? I personally doubt it. But then again a star is virtually worthless these days considering that Ryan Seacrest has one……whatever
