Our girl Halle Berry recieved her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday. The Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress was given the 2,333rd star in a ceremony outside Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre. Congrats to her!

wether yall think she doesnt deserve one, she worked her ass off wit all dese movies and no offense the white people get one everyday, u said her roles where forgetable, u still remembered what movie and wat make it so bad is u remebered wat she wore and did in said movie, she worked hard, “every” one who has gotten a star work hard in one point or other, if the shoe was on the other foot, u’ll be complainin about u didnt get a star and u busted yo ass through hollywood to make a name for yourself, so thats all im tryna say, just think if u were in her shoes.
@ # 60 – Cosign like a mother. But I must say that her best role was in “Losing Isiaih”. She did a decent job on that one even though her range is very limited. Good thing she’s fine because if she wasn’t she’d be like CCH Pounder, S. Epatha Merkerson and Alfre Woodard and have to rely on her talents.
These days, getting a star is like buying a Rolex. If you can afford it, you can achieve it (this means you Seacrest)!
We would have more black stars if some of y’all would get your asses out of Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia and move to New York or Los Angeles where you can be discovered!
There are some talented people like Fantasia living in Carolina, Texas, Louisiana and Virginia, but they never follow their dreams! Halle and Beyonce’ took the chance! Sure, Beyonce’ was destined with her incredible voice and looks, but all Halle had was her face!
If you dream to be an entertainer, you gotta go where entertainers are getting paid!

A lot of these women like Halle and Jennifer are lucky to have someone like Beyonce to show them the way! She just seems to instinctively know how to take it to the next level, no matter what she’s doing! Singing, acting, dancing, modeling, song writing or fachions! I know women will be wearing Beyonce’s freakum dresses all summer!

I am posting again because obviously for some strange reason my post was erased, and I still want to share some points about Halle’s career that I think people have overlooked.
Like I typed before. Halle has a long list of movies that she has done that has shown her true talent. The movie “Queen” that was written by Alex Haley about his biracial great-grandmother was an excellent movie in which Halle should have one an OScar for except it was a tv mini series type deal. Also the movie “Their Eyes Were Watching God” which is one of Oprah Winfrey’s favorite books she played an extrodinary character. The story of the tlife of “Dorothy Dandridge” which was a part coveted by serveral entertainer for years that she was awarded to play…also shows her try acting ability. I really feel hurt that what I typed was erased, because I feel that it is important that people know about these powerful movies that Halle has starred in. That she has done more movies than just those about sex, but about the slave era, which is important for Black people to know about.
I am posting this again because it is important that we know that Halle is an accomplished Black/white woman. I know I didn’t type anything obscene on here, which was typed by others and was kept.

The Walk of Fame is maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust. In order for a person to get a star on the Walk of Fame, he or she must agree to attend a presentation ceremony within five years of selection, and a $25,000 fee must be paid to the Trust for costs such as security at the star ceremony
Plus either you or someone has to pay a fee for it, point blank why would you want one anyway if you are famous you will be remebered regardless if you have a star or not.
