AMERICA NO LONGER HAS BRANDY
Looks like Brandy is currently out of a job:
TMZ has learned that Brandy has been replaced by Sharon Osbourne as a judge on the upcoming season of “America’s Got Talent.”
While rumors have swirled that Osbourne was in talks with NBC, a well-placed source tells TMZ that the embattled R&B star is officially out — and the rock and roll chatter queen is in. There was wide speculation over Brandy’s role on the talent show following her involvement in a December freeway crash that claimed a woman’s life. The City Attorney has yet to file charges against the “Moesha” star.
No word on if Brandy left the show willingly or if she was fired (which would really suck). Too bad I never really watched the show, I was just happy to see Brandy back on the scene for a minute. Will her career come on back on track after this tragic accident and her goofy brother’s video leaks?

Fantasia set the record straight recently in an interview with the NY Post about the rumors concerning her “learning disabilities”:
“I dropped out of school in the ninth grade, and when I said I had trouble reading, they took it that I couldn’t read at all,” she says. “I knew the basics, but some words that were unfamiliar, I couldn’t figure them out.” However, the “brand-new” Fantasia wants the world to know this: “I’m da bomb now, babe!”
So everyone can quit with the ‘Fantasia is slow’ jokes, they’ve been old for a while now – especially seeing as how she snagged the lead role in ‘The Color Purple’. Tasia can’t be to dumb to turn down a $6.5 million dollar role – making big moves girl.
Damn, that pic of Brandy is so hamtastic, remember the good ol Moesha days when she used to be so cute.
I have seen better pics of Brandy,but most celebs have been caught out there at one time or another looking well “less than their glamour celeb selves” for lack of a better way of describing it.You have to be crazy to think that celebrities look the same without makeup as they do when they are dolled up on the red carpet . Give me a break! As for her losing her spot on that show, BIG DEAL!That show didnt really highlight her own talent much. Im sure the money and publicity came in handy , however she now has bigger fish to fry and more important concerns. Thats a typical hollywood move for the show to dismiss and replace her.They dont want any bad publicity surrounding Brandys car accident with their show. I hope that she keeps the faith, remains prayerful, seeks counseling if she needs it, and works hard to get through all that shes facing now. When hollywod turns its back on ya all you have is your faith in whomor/ whatever you believe in and ya close friends and family to help you through. Her family seems pretty close so hopefully they will help her out with emotional support as much as possible. Brandy may turn her situation totally around and get her career back on track ,eventually .
As for Fantasia – I think its great that she has improved her reading skills.It would be even better if she attempted to get her hs diploma. That would set a great example for all the young ladies who found themselves in a similar situation, and let them know that its never too late . Talent is great but ya need an education as well:)
She always looks nice, her hair anyway! Short hair just works well for her, and she keeps it stylish, regardless of the color. Her makeup looks nice as well in the above pic. She is not the prettiest woman in entertainment but she is attractive,and talented!
Fantasia is the example to young wamen how have been through things in there lives. Who maybe single mothers and/or uneducated or just down on their luck. God always has a plan for you and your life never settle for anything other than the best, no dream is too big! Tasia looks great. I feel bad for Brandy, but she’ll bounce back…..they all come & go, but only a few can come back & I think Brandy is one of the few.
Dannng Fantasia’s rich now…6.5 million dollars!!! How come talent is such a big deal here? People work their asses off to get that degree to make good money,even if u aren’t guaranteed a job after graduation. if u want to work for the newspaper u get paid less than 60,000 a year. A doctor hell half a million and the money isn’t even worth it sometimes, but 6.5 million dollars..for that? Shit…:starts enrolling in theater classes:

Rebecca Gayheart that sleaze thats married to one of those white doctors on Greys Anatomy murdered a little white boy by driving drunk and she killed him then got off the chain and was caught again driving drunk and tore up some stuff the second time and still got off the chain and this drunk mess walks the red carpet smiling with her A list husband but Brandy loose everything right? And Fantasia fake butt, acting all brand new and stuck up on myspace. Celebs kill me they beg for us to buy cd’s concert tickets request they stuff on tv and the radio but they just sit that on myspace and cant even comment or acknowledge you. You need some new and positive energy in yo life Ray J been trying to keep the spotlight off you during this tragic time but settle with the family be happy you alive and get some new projects going. I don’t normally read these threads, but I am one of the people who support Fantasia and wish her great success, I guess I am for the underdog. I have never in my entire life heard such mean and creul comments before. This website does an injustice. It is difficult for African americans in the entertainment industry and in the after math of a talk show whatever to have recently said over the air in referring to intelligent young women as nappy head ho’s hear you are talking about Fantasia like she is dog. People are still playing old idol stuf and comparing her to Jennifer Hudson,and as far as her ability ot read or any other things regading her past, she told he story just like her mentor did Ms. Winfrey and Fantasia even had enough since to get paid for it. By the way if you did not know she was already a millionaire before accepting the role in the color purple. I believe she is going to do just fine because God hears every negative and cruel words of hate and distaste and He will continue to bless and no weapon formed against her or her child shall prosper. By the way she is someones daughter as well as someones mother. How would you feel is someone called your mother names, you would not like it. For those of you who hate her music, then you don’t have to listen to it or buy it bootleg or otherwise, the Lord will provide. Fantasia is doing better than most,and New York seems to love her. I pray that God will continue to put the right people in her life. I believe that she won idle as part of Gods plan for her life, and Mr. Sanders, Ms. Winfrey, and Mr. Jones swa something that others couldn’t see or wouldn’t see. Alfre Woodard for one who is and has been a superb actress. Jennifer Hudson has a beautiful voice and Fantasia does as well they both have differnt styles, I wonder why they did not record her before now??? Um #69 have you noticed how many people comment fantasia on MySpace in one day? It is impossible to answer all of those with her hetic schedule,and she is defintly not fake she is very real and very appreciative of her fans so please get your facts straight,and to #66 dont be jealous that is simply the favor of God the more people hate the more he blesses her. As for Brandy I hopethat God will fix it for cz he is the only one who can. Also Fantasias does leave her fans messages on her mobile club because of the fact that she osent have time to go My Space all the time. So please dont pass judgement and ay she is fake and you probably dont even know her because she is a sweet ,humble,person who ask us her fans to be nice to people like you who hate on her.
