The interview with the pictures is actually pretty interesting, as Melanie is 100% positive that Eddie is the father of her baby. She even goes as far as comparing her newborn’s features to the alleged father:

We had talked about having a family and getting married. We started talking about whether we should buy a house together, where we could be alone together.
When asked if she thinks he’ll take a DNA test:
There are pleanty of men out there who turn around and say the bay is not theirs. If he wants to do a DNA test, then do it. Step up to the plate and be responsible. I have no doubt that this is Eddie’s baby. I am not saying we can’t do it, I’m sitting here saying ‘Are you ready?’ For once in my life, I have given up control.

The baby is beautiful. For a split second i actually get the baby blues and want another child but then i snap out of it real quick. When they are that size i love it! I hated to see my little one grow out of that stage. She’s precious but not like my little one…I must say that i think this is eddy’s child. Melanie is putting herself out there too much for her to be lying…I’m really curious as to what happened to make him flip like that on her…

Eddie is wrong for how he treated Mel B in the media, but does she really need to publicly carry this on. She’ll get her court date….she should excercise the tact that Eddie didn’t. Let it play out in the courts and release a statement once the test comes back and let that, publicly, be the end of it.

That’s a beautiful baby. And getting a paternity test shouldn’t be difficult given the way he denied the baby, to the press! She should have no problem obtaining a court-ordered test.
The baby and her other daughter are gorgeous! Really pretty lil girls,and i see they dolled Mel B up too for the photo shoot. Its really too soon(in my opinion) to tell who the baby looks like. Some babies dont really develop their “Look” until weeks-months after they arrive. The baby may resemble her more, or Eddie more (pending outcome of paternity tests that is), although his children do all seem to look more like him than ex Nicole. I hope that if hes the dad he will step up to the plate and be more than just a child support dad shelling out money .I hope that hes really an active part of the babys life because children are innocent. Its not about him and Mel B!

I think Eddie is the father, otherwise Mel B. wouldn’t be putting herself out there publicly saying she is ready for a paternity test. This is a sad situation. You know, everyone makes mistakes. And they have to live with those mistakes. Mel obviously made a mistake in loving Eddie. I was confirmed by the way by a court ordered DNA test that the baby is his. I am glad that was settled.
