First off, do any of you even watch this show? Alot of black students have their opposed feelings towards BET’s raunchy reality show, but at the end of the day, it serves as entertainment while doing homework. Beats ‘The Real World’ anyway…
The fourth season of College Hill in the University of the Virgin Islands premiered last month and this season seems to be much crazier than the previous seasons (though I never really seen them). Last night’s episode however, was probably the craziest of the season with a very heated and literally bloody catfight between two of the roommates.
If you thought the show was a disgrace, then I don’t know what you may say now…
I was just in shock when I saw girl’s face afterwards. Like my girl Lakisha was singing last night on “American Idol” – JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!
Next week’s episode will determine who gets kicked out, and how chick’s face ended up like that.

I definitely agree with you. I am so disappointed in BET as a network. Since the transfer of high-ranking status changed hands, BET has plummet to nothing but filth. The one station that would uphold us as intelligent, hard working individuals with bright futures is tearing us down right along with society (White America). BET airs nothing but negative behavior that our people display. Although other races carry along in the same fashion at times but when they do it comes across as a “Surprise/ Shock” or the excuse that drugs were the cause. When this type of foolishness occurs in a Black community or by an African American, it’s looked upon as “Typical Black Behavior”.
This show has not once mention these students classes or showed them studying for any tests. It shows nothing but Under Age Drinking, Sex and Violence.
Keep in mind these same topics is what society expect from us black people.
This was my first time watching the show. To begin with I think the California kids are so damn closed minded that it hurts my heart. how can you be granted such an opporuntiy to not only go to the Virgin Islands but reside there for a while and not take advantage of it. They are complaining cause ‘that’s not what we do…not what we’re into’. F’ing ungrateful ass kids. I don’t blame Vanessa for charging her up. I think Crystl is a snotty snobby brat and deserved to get her ass kicked. I am ashamed that this was shown on TV especially now (Imus)however, I think the LA kids are brats. They have this chance of a lifetime opportunity and would rather eat and stay home. I would have been out tramping (no pun intended) right along with them. Cancel this Show!

The Cali girls (not the men) were acting like h*%s, always dissing the VI ladies hair, clothes and culture so Krystal kind of deserved that, but Fallon does too! The real problem is JT, acting like a lil boy-I think he mad because he can’t control Idesha like he control his girlfriend, when they were at the tramp he was eyeing Idesha winningup on diiferent dudes, anmd wasn’t too pleased. he got his lil feelings hurt and started to get upset and wanting to go home – like a little boy- and start complanin that Idesha and vanessa left them- They didn’t leave him alone Andre- and Chicky was there. he was upset with idesha for having friends and wanting to say wuz up for a minute- are the VI kids the cali kid babysitters- when he went home – he started talking the cali vs Vi kid stuff. Ideasha wasn’t even talking to him – when he called her a bitch- wuz up with that- just like a lil boy callin the girl names becuz she dont’t like him and u still like her.

Seriously, as an African Canadian of West Indian/Caribbean heritage I have to let you all know Black Americans have to be some of the most ignorant ppl ever, sometimes it can be like talking to white ppl. you see it with the Cali kids, you can read it in the ish some ppl posted up on here, Krystal deserved a good punch in the mouth, Just b/c Vanessa had blood on her face doesn’t mean she lost the fight, she could throw down and I am sure if we got a look at the tape on the cutting room flr we would see her land some serious punches. I really don’t think it was all about ratings, I mean we’ve all seen fights on these reality shows, I don’t think they thought it would get as bad as it did….however they did make the choice to air the footage they had.

I watch this show as i though it would add a cultural experience for kids who had biased thoughts on other cultures due to them never actually being there…i knew there would be some divisions…
…and apparently even this board is being divided just as easily as the cast of College Hill 4. You cant blame one side without the other in this senario. Its obvious that VI as well as Cali has problems(Cali kids probably have a bit more but what do you expect when others have home court advantage). Take no sides and blame the crew of this series for not stopping this whole ordeal when Vanessa jumped and ran. Even the “I Love New York/Flavor Of Love” Crew came out on camera if a fight felt possible. They all need to Shut The F^ck Up and goto school or something.(Willie Mack is the only actual sensible character on this show!)
A lesson was learned though:

In your opinion their actions don’t represent you and what you stand for but when other races, people from different up brings and different nationalities see this would claim this as “Black Behavior”. Looking at anything negative one would in their minds judge that person that was involved, their family, friends, nationality and sometimes the whole race for that one person’s down fault.
We all as individuals do it (judge) subconsciously. When a national station displays it for the entire world to see and judge the entire race, is inappropriate. Where not talking about the KKK’s station airing this negative behavior, we’re talking about BET Black Entertainment Television. The key word is Black, sweetie.

First and foremost I give mad props to all the west indians and carribean people. Yeah I don’t think that it should have gotten that far, but being of west indian decent I got aggetated myself by the fact that all Crystal did from the moment she got there was complain. She had to have understood that from the moment she got there that she was in a totally different world. Nobody told her that she had to like it but at least make an effort to try to experience and learn the culture instead of just complaining about it. It is really offensive to have someone downing your culture all day everyday in your face in the same home. Tempers definitely were going to flare. I am not sure whose idea it was to play that game they played in the beginning of the show but that was the beginning of the end. I think it was who would each person like to marry, sleep with, and kill. And you had to put the people in order of what you would want to do with them. At first they used celebrity names and that made it fun. But it was a bad idea when they began doing that with the roommates names. If the whole point was to ease the tension it definitely didn’t help for the guy to say he would kill Krystal and sleep with and marry the other girls.
This is a classic example of what happens when people don’t discuss issues and allow them to fester. It boils over. Okay that is the mature adult speaking.
The other part of me was glad that fight took place because too many times I would walk by the tv screen when that chick Krystal was talking and just yell at the screen Shut the FUCK UP KRYSTAL. That chick would annoy the hell out of me.
