If you dont watch the show, then you really dont understand. This season is one that everybody needs to watch. It’s not ghetto and it doesnt portray the black community in bad way. This season is all about respecting one another and their culture. The cast from Cali has been getting way out of line since the show started. I cant explain it to ya’ll. You just need to watch the show. My family is from the islands and I was raised in the states(NY). I was highly offended at some of the comments made on the show by the kids from Cali. Imagine somebody telling you that your culture reminds them of a bunch of wild hogs in the jungle or reffered to your friends as if they were a pack of untamed wolves. you just gotta watch the show. Crystal was looking for that ass whooping.

The entire fight was uncalled for but I’m glad Krystal did what she did. Vanessa landed more punches but Krystal lit her ass up with that shoe. Yeah , Krystal is whiny and she makes ignorant, rude comments about the VI but that does not give Vanessa a right to physically attack her. I understand Vanessa , as well as the other VI kids , being fed up with Krystal and her complaing but at the time all Krystal was saying was ‘If you`re not going to stop the fight , then you`re for it’ , and I agree. Vanessa seems to have some violent tendencies ( ie. the song about chopping people up ) and she used Krystal’s comments as reason to target her. Fallon and JT both make comments about the VI but it always seems to come back to Krystal. JT started the whole ‘argument’ with his comment about Idesha’s accent.

Okay I can realate to the VI student they are from the Virgin Islands NOT JAMACIA. I too have a very strong carribean culture and to see it being disrespected by people as ignorant as Fallon and Krystal really got me heated too. I do know why they had to be so set in their ways, if they had given it a decent try they would have enjoyed it. Yes, our islands don’t have Macy’s and all those things but it is filled with black made and designed clothes. This was just sad. We as a people need to unite, we are doing exactly what other cultures expected us to do. I wish that BET and the producers of this “show” would have edited out the fight. They need to show the kids doing something constructive with their lives and enjoy this possibly once in a lifetime experience. If BET is going to promote these types of shows, I feel that there needs to be at least two responsible (1 male’ 1 female) adults in the house to help maintain peace and tranquility..but then again these yound ladies and gentlemen should respect themselves and carry themselves better, they’ve got alot of people (especially young impressionable kids)watching them, they are on the “world stage” acting a fool. I was very upset and disturbed by this blatant display of disrespect for one another. I hope that for the rest of the show this can be resolved and we can see a positive outcome.

As a college student and one who goes to Howard, I find it hard to believe that BET cannot produce orginal, intectually programming. In the School of Communications at Howard, I know bright, brillant students who have flims that they produce themselves they can do circles around BET. The flims I see at school, from the lil shorts to whole films are wonderful, entertaining but smart. There are talented, creative Blacks who can easily produce decent shows. BET just doesn’t want to take the intivative to produce something brillant.

College Hill should have been a show about the struggles of going to college, the hardships of joining orginizations, the issues on college campus, they should show how college students juggle, school, work and other real college issues, this show doesn’t even pretend to be about school.

BET is a disgrace, BET should be the Black Mecca, everything Black should be on BET. I want to see news shows, old Black sitcoms (come one, I mean how many times can I see The Wyane’s Brothers cooning or Jaime Fox?) What about shows like, Living Single, Different World?

I refuse to watch BET, as a student in the communications field, having once interened at BET and seeing first-handed the operations at the network, I refuse to ever work at BET. I don’t believe I could be proud of myself if I stated I worked at BET. It’s nothing to be proud about, that’s basically saying, I support their efforts and the content.

My friend just started working at BET and they have sucked him into the BET culture, he believes that there is nothing wrong with the programming and the content, when before he started to work there he couldnt stand BET, and now all our converstations are BET this or BET that. Everyday he askes me if I seen this show or did I catch that show, I always say no.

We nearly lost Krystal last night folks, why didn’t the producers step in when she was on the verge of losing her life? Thats messed up pharreal.

When I saw the previews, I was thinking JT was gonna be the one fighting cuz I noticed he the main way starting stuff and being two-faced. First he mess wit Idesha then had the nerve to call her a bitch..but he claim to be so religious and wanting peace with everybdy. Yeah Crystal, Fallon and him are wrong for acting stank with the Island kids cuz they just wantd to include them in the activities yet they disrespected them in my opinion.

I don’t agree it shoulda came to blows but seeing Vanessa beautiful face bloody..I was blowed cuz all the trash talking she do and lil Crystal bust her up. I like the show and I hope they can at least get along for one episode. Curious to see who go home.

I saw the show last night, and the bottom line is both are wrong! Vanessa was making some comments to someone else, then Krystal jumped in and said that stuff to Vanessa. Yes, Vanessa had the right to get upset because she was trying to calm Idesha down, but she should have left the house or something because she went wild on that girl, and you can’t be acting like that as a civilized person. Also, she is a psychology major, and she has to learn to control her emotions. They both probably will be going home. Vanessa ran up on Krystal and started physically fighting her, and yes, Krystal was defending herself, but Krystal used that blunt force object to injure Vanessa. It’s all wrong. I personally believe that Vanessa’s nose got bloody, but because of how wild they were with that catfighting, and the roommates trying to separate them, it got smeared all over her face.

I missed it last night and im mad as hell because I kept reminding myself to watch it and STILL ended up missing it but its all good I know they’ll show it 100 more times!

I totally agree with Complexndope on the concept of mocking the Real World…Although the Real World does have it’s own drama, it’s not as retarded as what just happened in the clip above…I like it more because its cast is usually diverse and it seems to flow better. I think they were totally going about this the wrong way. This is a chance for them to open their minds and learn about the different cultures that they have (the cali kids and the VI kids). I think it might be the heat. When it gets hot sometimes we go a lil crazy and who can take being in a closed environment for so long and you don’t particulary mesh well with the people you are around…
