I was born in America but both my parents came here from the West Indies, and on top of that I am from NY where there are a lot of West Indians. My mother is from St. Kitts (where Idesha is from) So I can’t understand how people could come somewhere and totally disrespect others culture. The music, accents, food and culture is a part of who I am. But the kids from Cali, I assume there are not many West Indians over there so they are lost. But, I thought part of them going over there was to learn from a new culture? Not bash it every chance they get. That is what got on my nerves the most!

I personally have not watched anything on BET since…….(it was sold) BET (Black Explotation Television) has totally nose dived and I am truly dissapointed in Tracey Edmonds and other exces who are in positions to potray the “black college experience” in a positive and productive light but have chosen to procuce…..this…..sh*t! I have never watch an episode of College Hill and I had no prior knowledge of the segregation going on btwn the Cali & VI kids. However just because I saw commercials (on another channel, NOT BET) for this episode, I tuned in last night just to see what was really going to happen.

I have read about 80% of the comments on here and I agree with most of you guys. I can see why Vanessa went off the way she did. And I can see why you guys were saying Krystal deserved it. Personally after viewing the “fight” I believe that Vanessa was handling her business and she would not have had a bloody face if it werent for that object (shoe, brush, whatever) in Krystal’s hand. But honestly, it doesnt matter who “won” or who “got their ass beat” Because the simple fact that this f*ckery was broadcast on TV equates to “US” all LOSING!!!!

Vanessa will be sent home because she was the aggressor in the issue. She charged at Krystal and the fight took off from there. So based upon that, she will be gone. Krystal is no angel and I am not taking up for her. Honestly I wanted to “clock” her a$$ too because her mouth and attitude are so filthy. Did anyone watch the full episode? When they were at dinner she was calling the guy with braids (I forget his name but its not Chicky) “white-skinned” ….WTF!?!? But that is a racist comment in itself. Who is she to call another black person white skinned? …Let’s not forget JT calling Idesha a b*tch!!! WTF was that about? Can we not have conversations w/o berating one another and calling each other out of our names? Now you can clearly see why some other races do not respect US….WE DONT EVEN respect “US”! But you get tierd of it after a while especially when you have put yourself out there to try and teach someone new things and they are so set in their ways of not learning. Am from the caribbean but live in America and I have to say black stateside americans are set in their ways. You wonder why Africans and islanders segregate themselves is because most of you’ll dont want to learn about others. Being in the military I have seen and heard it all, I came to the states with an open mind but as soon as I opened my mouth to speak the disrespect started. The dumb comments, examples are do we wear clothes, are we black, and the men think that caribbean women are sex freaks. And when we travel in the navy and go to other countries they disrespect other cultures too(especially the white americans), but those people sit and take it because americans shove the fact that they americans in their face. I nearly lost it one time, when a black american told me that I wasnt black because what I do as a black person in the caribbean is different from one in america. What they need to understand is that black stateside culture does not set the tone for every other blacks around the world. There are more blacks in the caribbean and africa than in the states. What kept me from knocking people out from disrecpecting me was the fact that I didnt want to get out the military with an dishonorable discharge and also to beat the sterotypes of what they think of caribbean people. It’s just in my experience and many other people I know, black american statesiders are very close minded people. Also the one of the reason why a lot of Africans and Islanders come to the states with an attitude towards american stateside blacks is because we already sorta of know how your’e going to act toward us, the states is a nice place to live but it’s the people who make it what it is.

We need to hold people responsible for these types of things. We talk about how the media is responsible for how the world views us, yet we do the same things when we get the opportunity.

As a BLACK MAN I’m upset to see to beuatiful Black women fighting over Bullish. At the same time on these shows they set it up so it’s like that. It’s like a lab, and the people on the show are lab Rats. Man what happened to real television, that’s why I don’t watch TV no more.

I don’t think Krystal, JT and Fallon would be welcomed back to the island,they are ignorant, whining, brats. JT is such a fake, one minute he is downing Krystal for her stupid comments, next minute he is acting the exact same way. Vanessa and the Island kids give the Cali kids PLENTY of time and ignore more of their ignorance then I would have, also Krystal used a shoe to hit Vanessa, but Vanessa still got plenty of blows in. Somebody from that Island would of eventually beat Krystal azz.

People trip me out with these one and two word comments just to be first. They don’t even be watching the clip or reading about the post.

I haven’t seen College Hill in SO long. I honestly forgot about it but I think I’ll be tuning in now. It looks like that girl in the pink got the best of her but that other chick just hit her the wrong way… or obviously the RIGHT way. All that blood on her face was BANANAS!!!

If Vanessa ran up on me then I would hit her with whatever I have in my hand..cause it’s not like Krystal had any time to gear up for the fight so of course she was going to use the brush or whatever she had in her hand as a weapon..I personally think Krystal put up a good fight cause if you notice Krystal had more people holding her back, and Vanessa only really got at her when she pulled her hair..

Dang couldn’t tell who won! From what I saw it looked like as Vanessa ran up to her..Krystal threw the first blow, which caught Nessa off guard& balance as she started to swing wildly. I cant beleive Nessa fought her..She should’ve choice her words more carefully on that clip before. She said she would kill her a$$. OHH what’s beef is when you get beat with a brush.LMOA

This is too sad. I always wonder why the cameramen/women don’t get involved when things clearly get out of hand. I know that they want things to play out naturally, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.

Still, it’s funny how we all looked at the same vid footage and came out with diff outcomes. When they “explain” it all next week, I guess we’ll know.

Vanessa came at Kristal and was throwing punches to that girl left and right. Kristal had a brush or shoe or tire iron (whatever) and was beating the girl with that on her BACK! When the other roommates came and started holding them, I think that is when Krital hit Vanessa across the face. (Never fails that when people are trying to help, you get hit the worse.) Anyway, it doesn’t take a lot to make someone bleed. Through all the commotion and movement, the blood spread all over her face.

TRUST ME, Vanessa has one cut on HER face that made all that blood SO KRISTAL DID NOT BEAT HER UP. Looks the other way around to me. If no one had intervened, Vanessa would have been shown to be the victor although that should be an embarrassing title for either female.

It’s one thing to run up on some one and start a fight, and another to defend yourself

one you initiate and the other you retaliate- big difference nobody should allow another person to pull their card and have them wilin out like that-because the fact of the matter is the person provoked you and caused you to react-they won and that’s what they probably wanted all along-now she may have bit off a bit more than she can chew(shoe) but you get the point-

getting to the point you can’t control yourself and the ony thing you can do is fight-is what my 3 year old does because she doesn’t know any better, not acceptable after elementary, pushing it high school.

Damn V.I animals! Krystal didn’t say nothing worth getting run up on. Vanessa went for the easiest target. She chased a woman down, who didn’t say any thing that bad, and who was trying to get away, and tried to beat her like a savage. WHAT ANIMALS!
