I go to a white school, but this is one of the reasons i chose not to go. employers feed into these stereotypes, making it harder to get a good job afterwards. if i were board member of an HBCU, i would everything in my power to stop this coonery, for fear it will give HBCU’s a bad name, and lower enrollment numbers. bad for business.

I’m not surprised by any of it. We are a passionate people and it’s sad that this is the only way some of us know how to deal with anger and frustration. I don’t think it’s better than Real World at all. The funny thing is: On the “Real World,” I think the fight might have been stopped immediately by the producers or whomever is behind the scenes monitoring everyone. Plus, “Real World” has one or two black people on the show, so I believe because of that we really try to show less of that. Just a thought!
