The really sad thing about this whole thing is that it happened in the first place. The young people had an opportunity to demonstrate for the world that the black culture as diverse as it is has the ability to see, and appreciate the beauty of another no matter where they come from. I will say that Crystal’s parents need to be ashamed. See this is why College Hill is offensive to young, black, college students like myself. all we have is black kids on here acting a fool, meaning they are the representation supposedly vindicative of what (ALL) black students act like. i think its highly offensive that the white owned BET would put a show about black students on tv, and rarely show them in the classroom. no i dont support this show, or its channel. to compare real world to college hill is ridiculous. they supposedly relay diffrent races, genders, sexual orientations on there, so as to avoid backlash from the obvious stereotyping, college hill on the other hand, will have you thinking black students like myself dont exist. and more importantly, its a turn off to people wanting to enroll in an HBCU. i doubt this is what it is like at HBCU’s. I go to a white school, but this is one of the reasons i chose not to go. employers feed into these stereotypes, making it harder to get a good job afterwards. if i were board member of an HBCU, i would everything in my power to stop this coonery, for fear it will give HBCU’s a bad name, and lower enrollment numbers. bad for business.
