Another TV talent contest is on the horizon, this one featuring members of the Jackson family.
Pop Dynasty is the working title for a contest aimed at finding a family of singers a la the Jacksons, a CBS spokesman said Wednesday.
Jermaine, Tito and LaToya Jackson — but not Michael or Janet, the most famous Jacksons — will serve as judges. LaToya Jackson, who’s had a solo singing career, was featured on the CBS reality show Armed and Famous.
Jermaine Jackson is one of the principal partners for Pop Dynasty. Jamie Foxx (Ray,Dreamgirls ) also is involved with the project, CBS said.
Details of the show are being worked out and the network hasn’t settled on an air date. READ MORE

Interesting, maybe i’ll check it out. Reality tv has been “resurrecting” people’s careers. If you notice, alot of stars from back in the day are jumping on the reality-show bandwagon–and some becomming “it” again.

How is judging contestants about music have to do with “resurrecting” their careers? That’s not going to do anything for themselves, I think thats quite obvious. People are way too quick to try and insult somebody.
#15 – Don’t play that. Tito and Jermaine are good singers who can play instruments and dance at the same time. If thats not talent I don’t know what is. All 6 (I’m including Randy) of the Jackson brothers have talent, and should be applauded by how hard they worked during a time that was much harsher than it is today in the music industry, especially what with Papa Joe being your manager. Of course Michael was the most talented brother, but give the others some credit too.

What happen to producers being creative and coming up with decent shows? Is it that bad to where all we have to choose from is different reality shows? What are execs getting paid for? We either have CSI NEW YORK ,MIAMI, LAS VEAGAS, LOS ANGELES, OKLAHOMA, NEW JERSY, ARIZONA, OHIO, CHICAGO or LAW&ORDER SVU, HOMICIDE, CHILD PREDATORS UNIT, LARECENY UNIT,TRAFFIC UNIT, ETC…. I’ll just read a book!
