Snoop Dogg has offered to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s TV talk show to debate the use of racist and sexist lyrics in rap music. Last week, the hip-hop star’s name was mentioned on The Oprah Winfrey Show in a discussion about the lyrical content of rap albums and the effects such music is having on children.

Deena Alleyne says she is sorry for her raunchy dancing with Senegal-born US artiste Akon at the Zen nightclub on Thursday.
A video clip of the act was posted on the YouTube-Broadcast Yourself website but later pulled after a notification to YouTube by Universal Music Group.
“This whole hip hop thing is a guise and I don’t want any part of it, I don’t want to be any part of it,” said Alleyne during an interview at Chaguanas yesterday.

JAY-Z TO HOOK UP AMY WINEHOUSE
Jay Z has reportedly added his hip hop stylings to Amy Winehouse’s song Rehab to help the British soul star break into the mainstream American market. Word is he is big fan of hers and remixed the song so that it can “appeal to a wider audience.”
A source says, “Jay-Z told Amy he had some great ideas and when he called her back a few weeks later, she couldn’t believe it.”

I agree! I heard ‘I’m No Good’ on a black station here FINALLY! I’m glad that she’s getting some better exposure now. She needs to win/get nominated for a music award or I swear I’ll never watch another music award show again.

I’ve been bumping Back to Black since it came out in the states last month. I even bought Frank, her first cd. GET IT. When did she do a track with Pharaoh Monch? I know there’s a remix with Ghostface Killa on Back to Black.
And Oprah don’t EVER have to invite rappers like Snoop or 50 on her show if she chooses not to. What they eat don’t make her shit. And crying about it on radio stations is just wack. Her viewers, by in large, don’t care about rappers other than the fact that they disapprove of their lyrics.

People say that hip hop degrades women.WRONG I can give three reasons why.
1.)WOMEN CHOOSE to be dancing like strippers in a rappers videos.It’s not like E-40 put a gun to that girls head if she did’nt let the video have close ups of her booty.
2.)Besides,Most models who dance in videos get their money’s worth.They get payed $900 to $1,500 maybe even $5,000 to dance in these videos.While girls in the street get payed as little as $80 just to have sex.PEOPLE WHO CRITISIZE HIP-HOP DID’NT TELL YOU THAT DID THEY?
3)Rappers in their lyrics when they say h* they really mean h*! Not any old woman!Someone who sleeps around.B*tches and h*s really do exsist.That’s why that type of language is only directed towards true b*tches and h*s. If a woman is offended by that they really must be one.It only hurts you if it’s true.If they got a problem with kids then adult need to observe what their kids watch,listen to,and learn.It isn’t Snoop Dog who raises everybody’s kids.If kids get screwed up that’s on that kid’s parents!
They have enough time to sit on a talkshow and worry about some rapper’s lyrics.But they can’t focus on more important things like the AIDS population in Lasotho,Africa.Don’t they have other things to worry about?
