Anyway, Drake (& the homie Trey Songz) are back with the brand new video – directed by the talented STIRLING™. I don’t know what took them so long to do this video, but it’s all good. I still jam to this song.

Not saying Drake is the most amazing lyricist, but he definitely has more skill than I thought Jimmy Brooks would have. The video is nothing too special, but I do agree, I like the wardrobe for the video. All in all there are A LOT worse things out there. So if everyone else can do it why can’t he? Get it, Drake!

about the track…I can see why it wsa left off the album, it kinda sounds amateur and like somethin is missin in the beat. Its ok for a bonus tho and I really like the breakdown part. She also sounds like chris brown in poppin in some parts.

I been feeling this from the first day I heard the song. Been a Degrassi fan since day one, so when I first found out he raps, I been waiting for this since forever.
Hope he does it big in the USA, thats the aim of most Canadian rappers. So putting songs on the track was a GREAT idea, trying to get that fan base in the states.

I remember 1 summer when I was younger he did a performance there, he opened for Al Green.. soo he may have spent time there during the summer with family. When I first heard that “Jimmy” had started rappin I was really skeptical…. have to admit he’s way better than I expected… flows are sharp and tight… and he’s clever. Trey Songz is a good look for a first single. Is this an official release now though? I don’t think Drake’s been picked up by any label yet.
The new Toronto directors on the come up do real quality work with a fraction of a fraction of what the budgets are in the U.S…. which is probably why this was done in studio. I guarantee you this couldn’t have cost more than $20Gs – $25Gs Canadian!!! On that scale, pullin off a look like this is damn impressive. We’ll see what happens when they get bigger dough to kick around.
