But if she wants to make teh sales that will give her teh paper she deserves seh has to change her style a little bit, and tap that POP market. And while I like it, songs liek this won’t cut it. Its sooo lame to be usin them Asian beats nowadays, it should have been left alone after christina millian and ja rule used them to death. About the video….it seems too dark for a spring release, and parts reminded me of Ciara for real (that suspender fit looks just like the one ciara wore on david letterman). Plus the dancing in the second scene had ciara written all over it.

Now I know mya is probably the better and more versatile dancer, but somehow it doesnt pack the same punch as ciara. And I agree that Ciara is for the kids and Mya is for the adults, but we all know ciara will outshine Mya when it comes to success.

I have nothing against Mya, but that shit was boring and wack as hell. Mya actually looked like a new young singer doing her first video. I love Mya and Ciara. Mya is more versatile considering her training. However, I will have to say I prefer Ciara’s moves– it’s something about the way she delivers the goods that looks effortlessly stunning.

She has a way that she transitions from one move to another that is flawless, rough and angelic at the same time.

This song by Mya I am not crazy about. Considering song, video and moves I would have to say this is not on Promise’s level. Also, it is hard to see all of her moves because of the camera work. Mya is a phenomenal dancer– but my heart has to go with Ciara as she is one who inspires me to dance and elevate myself.

Sidenote: people on her are quick to point out that someone is better at something because the received professional training. Training does not necessarily mean anything. Rat talent, generally, can get you a long way. Mya happens to be trained and have raw talent so I will let it slide. However, do not tell me Diddy can dance because he started out doing tap– that is ludicrous. Same for Beyonce’s voice- I do not care if she had lessons. You either have it or you don’t.

I think Ciara can move her ass off,but Miss Mya is more complex and shows more technicality than Cici does.But Ciara has more of a flow that people fall in love with,atleast that is what I think.And that answers the person who stated why we see people dancing like Ciara,Beyonce,and Aaliyah.Because Mya moves are more on a professional level,while Beyonce,Aaliyah,and Ciara dances are on a more intermediate level,Mya’s on advance.Get it straight!

I agree with #50. Back in those days Mya was doin it. Don’t get me wrong the song in and video in my opinion is average, and I think Mya is very talented,but for a comeback this was not the one. Please come out with another video before the album drops.

this is not a comeback. Mya will have this one hit then her ass will leave again (she hasn’t been the shit since her first album). I just think she looks like a kid through out the video, she doesn’t show enough sophistication to me.

I KNEW IT! I can tell by that lame beat it was her. Sound like that same shit she always sings to. I thought it would have been more colorful too. Its too dark. She looks nice and thats it. Only part that sounds good is the chorus.

THAT song is a summer hit. For all you comaparing dance moves of Ciara and Mya. MYA at least can keep the feminine aspect even when she is dancing hard. Ciara looks like MC hammer when she dances.
Something is just tooo masculine about ciara when she dances. It has nothing to do with her being 6′2 and a center for a mens college basketball team.
Even though Mya sounds like a Chipmunk, she at least makes an attempt to sing and she is louder than the track.
