The finale of American Idol aired last night and the outcome showed 17 yr. old Jordin Sparks from Arizona as this year’s Idol. Guests on the finale included past AI contestants Jennifer Hudson, Paris Bennett, and Ruben Studdard.
Other guests included Ananda Lewis, and performers Gladys Knight, Bebe & Cece Winans, Doug E. Fresh, and Smokey Robinson. Jordin’s first single is available exclusively on AOL Music.

I liked Jordin, but I was rooting for Blake to win, especially after my girl Lakeisha got voted off!! But im sure that Blake will still get a record deal. He is 100% original, and he always stayed true to who and what he was, regardless of how many time the judges told him to change his style up!!

Melinda outsung all of the finalists last night. Blake did his thing tho. Jordin is cool but her voice can become very annoying. There is nothing original about it. But she’s pretty, she’ll lose a ton of weight and America will eat it up.
